is this REALLY a good present? really?
Why does everyone always suggest it?
i got some for xmas - i was very pleased
I usually stick with the Staedtler ones because they're permanently on sale at Cass Art and are pretty nice:
I bought myself this the other day 'cause I had a voucher. It's pretty great, although ended up not being useful for what I need it for. Good for lettering though:
that stain the underside of the paper meaning writing on both sides becomes shit.
well well well.
a terrific cunt.
'I LOVE SPONGE CAKE!'
but sometimes the nicest pens are found among the rough cheapo pens, it makes it sadder when they run out
It's sad when they do not achieve this potential
Any time I've been given anything nice I lose it.
a 'nice bottle of wine'
Got it as a present years ago, still going strong. Beautiful.
the budget is £100!
It's just a pen. If you're really splashing out:
I once had so much work money to spend on suggested "smellies" that I bought someone a very small bottle of this mist that you spray on your face when you're on a plane to keep it moist. It was from Molton Brown
but I can imagine is properly ace. Thought to be honest, I can't ever be bothered to have a single pen to look after and replace the ink all the time.
Fuck that. 20p Biro will do.
Good for Dads though. Probably. I dunno. Actually, it's a bit of a shit present.
You know, the really massive ones.
it's got to be classy
