Who's all watching this?
Looking forward to seeing capaldi as Richieleu (sp?)
so I'm sure I'll enjoy it.
a fun sunday night adventyrue type thing.
Don't think I'll be watching it again though.
Bit annoyed that Milady was so ropey looking.
READ THE THREAD FIRST, ME.
I quite enjoyed it. Better television than the recent Dr Whos and Sherlocks imho.
Bet it was rubbish.
By it, I mean d'Artagnan.
I can't be bothered to find the House of Fools thread, but I watched it this morning and laughed, audibly, on the tube.
I've just found out he was the chap in Skins. Scrap that.
I love SKINs (i.e. still pretending to be 18).
I don't, however, want to be attracted to one of the actors...
Watched about 20 minutes before I had to turn over due to extreme boredom.
Albert the Fifth Musketeer was good too.
I'd also like to see that steam punk one from last year.
and they came up with the brilliant plan of going back to Paris and asking some women they'd briefly met who had no vested interest in what was going on to dress up as a prostitute and proposition the guard so he'd turn round and they could strangle him. Such a great plan.
purely for the eye candy
7 on 10.
but more like 5 out of 10.
ALSO: the pretty lady who plays the laudress or whatever it is: possibly the worst actress of seen outside of a daytime soap in forever.
who's in love with D'artagnan. I haven't read the book, but her boring husband is obv gonna get killed off so they can get it on, right?
The book is a million times better than the telly series, unsurprisingly.
She is a terrible actress.
Coincidentally started it just before tv series started. Would definitely recommend, really entertaining and surprisingly page-turning. Her name is Bonacieux.
does she get together with D'artagnan in the end? Husband gets killed?
but I still like to know these things first.
I'll just google it
Google away. They have a good story.
