I saw Frank quite a few times when i was a schoolboy. I used to go and watch him with my eldest sister, and gave him cans of tizer at his gigs. Of all the celebrity deaths of the last few years, his is the one which seemed to upset me the most. I still feel a bit sad about it all now. Definitely going to watch the film, and also going to buy this for me and my sister and get our names on it! http://www.beingfrankmovie.com/info.html
the other one is a documentary.
Although he used to scare the hell out of me when I was little, I adore him and am intrigued by him.
Turning down the chance to see him and johnny Clarke at the Brudenell in Leeds was probably the most idiotic thing I ever did.
in terms of being terrified of him as a kid.
i'm interested to see how each film portrays him. the feature one is fictional rather than a biopic, but obvs draws on frank alot. think the doc will be rather nice.
Growing up in the same hometown, I don't know if I really appreciated him. I also got a bit sick of him invading the pitch at our FA cup games, but his death really made me sad.
It really is
i fear it could be absolutely awful or great and i don't know which is more likely.
Imagine explaining this to Maggie Gyllenhaal before she was cast?
that show was the GOAT channel m show
she's dead cool
but kind of think it's cool that you can't really grasp what (from what I've read, anyway) was so unique and interesting about him from YouTube and that.
Would be quite interesting in seeing this film.
This looks brilliant
