General audit + would like I see some ridiculous ones.
Mine: Digital Marketing and Product Manager.
temperate and tempestuous, btw. After that I'm done.
fuck this website.
(shucks isn't in yet)
on all the internal stuff that I see sent round it's IT Manager
in actuality I am an IT developer who gets dragged into doing really boring mundane management nonsense because someone else is too busy
I go to the shops and buy new paperclips when we run out.
Means very little (other than I'm more important than junior associates, natch).
Recently had to deal with someone whose job title was "Commercial Leakage Manager".
but it's one of the main engineering disciplines, the legit ones, like stuctural, mechanical, electric etc.
People rarely seem to know what my job actually entails from the title.
My first couple of jobs had fundraiser/fundraising in the title, but for the last 8 years or so it’s Development just about everywhere. Such a rubbish euphemism – I blame the Americans.
I work for an arts organisation so it's been called Development for the best part of 20 years here (and in many other similar organisations) which unfortunately means it's unlikely to change any time soon...
Trainee Teacher - 5 days a week
either product support engineer or technical product specialist.
sadly, it's not that high octane. Third sector and all that.
I used to do Comms before I became this dull.
also, great spelling/sentiment interface
not spelling. I used to win all of the spelling bees. I just can't bloody type.
cheers for asking
soon to be Deputy. Pretty much the same thing.
paid job- Associate Partner, Corporate & Commercial.
family business which is currently bleeding me dry- managing director of [redacted] Holdings Limited (and also MD of the subsidiary Ops Cos.)
I don't even know what all these words together mean.
My better jobtitle would be
and get called "the IT guy" by people on half my wage as they ask me how to connect to a printer.
We take Gotham from the corrupt! The rich! The oppressors of generations who have kept you down with myths of opportunity, and we give it back to you... the people. Gotham is yours. None shall interfere. Do as you please
"take some responsibility for your own actions for christ sake!"
but it feels like it.
I really AM a managing director
(said in voice of douglas renham)
and I didnt have one for 2.5 years at my old job either until I became MO DTA PROCESS EXPERT and I still dont know what DTA stood for.
I assist the Archives & Records
Is it as ace as I always managed?
Loved working in the archives. Nothing like a nice dusty indenture document of a weekday.
someone sort us out a job in summer when i graduate please ta
(no, but still need to let them know. Oops.)
please kill yourself.
I want a wanky title that doesn't mean anything.
you were more subtle/better
and it makes sense. :(
You should know that, Markeetect.
Work that one out then
"no, the other"
"well, go sell them a proposition. Good work everyone" ***HIGH 5***
I do admin
for underwriting services
so it's pretty accurate really
but I say Web Editor when I can't be bothered to explain it.
soon: business analyst
apparently i manage the tops of desks and tell'um what to do, but i don't do that at all
But in my email sig I just put "Web developer"
'Hello Officer, could you help me Support all of this Curriculum please?'
'Hello Manager, could you help me Support all of this Operational please?'
Which in conversation is always followed with "what's that?" Which always leads to a horribly dull explanation in which I fail to explain what I actually do, largely because I don't really know what I actually do.
Heir to the boss maybe! :)
according to the Ambassador Theatre Ltd. Group which I may or may not have set-up myself
I'll couple your markets.
Cannot even slightly figure out what it is they do.
Let's end this here.
there's even a Batemanesque photo of me on there. For the laaaaadieeeeezzzz.
You look like a very serious man.
