-Big Sam S(B)ACKED
and as a Shabs and Bants merchant means we won't get to see him flicking the V's at Italy (or Germany) reminding them who won the war or making sarcastic "racist biter" motions to Suarez. Shame.
would usually be reet up for that but have got other commitments tonight! :( next week?
as mentioned yesterday, went mental and bought a ticket to a Fulham replay...
2006 - is selected by a defensive and needy manager on his way out despite playing about 5 minutes of football in his career and wet behind the ears
2010 - is a bit shit and isn't picked
so arsene will not spend any money.
this is his moment.
here's a pitch invasion fight from the same game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6a1AfnyrZZA
More importantly, poor Arsenal. A lot of goals and assists to replace and he's the only source of real pace or width in a team full of floaty, tapball merchants.
Big ask for a kid like Gnabry to replace that consistently and could be ages before Chamberlain's fit enough to start every week.
Also another striker option down, Arsene's got to spend now.
now sit down and enjoy your Sanogo you ingrate
he's only ever scored 5 goals for England and 3 of them came in the same game. That's a pretty rubbish return
fill your boots
Must be pretty gutting coming straight back from an injury, picking up some form and then getting a potentially career threatening injury.
Terrible for the club though, Gnabry and Chamberlain don't have the same goal scoring threat Walcott does. Really need to buy but I don't think we will.
as a nickname if he does end up playing central midfield like some people suggest he will (i haven't seen enough of him to know if that's bollocks)
Demba Ba (Chelsea) to Crystal Palace
Emiliano Viviano (Arsenal) to AC Milan or Bologna
Steven Defour (Porto) to Aston Villa

Dele Alli (MK Dons) to Arsenal or Newcastle
Nemanja Vidic (Man Utd) to Fiorentina
Zacharias Faour (Malmo) to Man City

Thomas vermaelen (Arsenal) to Napoli
Everton Ribeiro (Cruzeiro) to Man Utd
... according to Le Parisien, PSG consider Walker to be the ideal replacement for the injured Christophe Jallet and will make their move later this month.
to facilitate bringing in a relatively young goal-shy attacking midfielder too
That's 5 days old!
Definitely a weak spot
Guardian live feed please
and not reported on these very pages previously.
You should be ashamed...
There is no chance of Garvan going to Millwall. Garvan was omitted from the 25 by Holloway at Palace and Garvan made comments saying he will be at Palace longer than Holloway. Which he was proved right. Apparently they hate each other.
The Garvan thing was quoted at the end of the Ba to Palace article in the Mirror, so again it won't happen.
I could see us offloading Grandin, Moxey, Wilbraham and maybe McCarthy to Millwall though.
Jermaine Easter and Aaron Wilbraham could be reunited at Millwall to form a deadly partnership.
but it does seem very unlikely based on his spat with Holloway in September last year.
Bloody love that guy.
British football is a worse place without him
was one of the most euphoric moments I've ever had at a football game.
i love the way the video just keeps showing it from different angles.
Think last time that happened was 1976
Probably 1976 again. I need to pay closer attention.
What a man
to distract himself from crying cos he knew he was gonna be out for ages
what a hero
this feels like about a 20-weeker... anyway bye
“Someone said to me at a match the other day that it was very quiet and that the crowd weren't making much noise.
“I told them it was because they were in awe of what they were watching. I was in awe.
Q: Was David Moyes the right man to appoint?
IW: 'I thought it was great that Manchester United went for a British manager.'
Q: But how long do United give Moyes to turn around this form?
IW: 'I would like to see him given a run.'
Q: Can they trust him after he spent £27.5m on Fellaini?
IW: 'Players will not want to go there if the team is struggling.'
Q: So will top players not join if they don't reach the Champions League?
IW: 'United could still attract players...but you wonder if players will want to sign for them if they aren't in it.'
Q: Will Wayne Rooney stay if United don't improve?
IW: 'If top players don't want to join them, then why would Rooney stay?'
Q: Is there anybody they can sign in the January window?
IW: 'If I was a top player and Manchester United wanted to sign me, I'd wait to see Rooney commit his future to the club first.'
Q: To what extent is Ferguson to blame for United's predicament?
IW: 'Fergie is to blame to a certain extent.'
Q: Is it fair Fergie sits in the stands, putting more pressure on Moyes?
IW: 'I don't blame him for being there - but I don't believe it helps.'
Q: Was Moyes wrong to get rid of Fergie's backroom staff?
IW: 'I think that might have been one of his mistakes.'
Q: What selection blunders has Moyes made this season?
IW: 'He has hardly played Rio Ferdinand or Nemanja Vidic.'
Q: What are United doing wrong tactically on the pitch?
IW: 'I'd love to be playing against Manchester United right now.'
Q: Is it Moyes' fault that United's title winners have declined so badly?
IW: 'Until someone comes out and tells us, we are not going to know for sure.'
Fucking Big Keith off the Office
cracking up at this for some reason
I think Cardiff are going to be O.K from now on
His accent is great.
I've said it before but I hope he ends up managing United someday.
''go on...TWAT IT''
Arsenal v Coventry City – Friday, January 24 7.45
Stevenage v Everton – Saturday, January 25 5.15
Sheffield United v Fulham or Norwich – Sunday, January 26
You'd have a couple of thousand Arsenal fans and about 600 Cov fans inside Sixfields :D
Although if that were the case, no doubt they'd strike a deal to play at the Ricoh for a game.
ON TV TWICE?!
then go to PQ and get more sloshed yeah
are united still shit or wot?
you inbetweener cunt
go and shift some balance of powers
Spurs on the other hand...
are you an unpleasant person in real life or just on the internet?
landing below on the sunderland fans
i'll get my coat
only for one of our back 4 to foul them and then go on to score from the same passage of play?
i can think of....4 times that has happened
We've got a cup final humiliation to get to. Pull your finger out.
but I am really depressed, rather than anxious, at the thought of playing United again. Could really do with Sunderland winning here and then 1-0ing the fuck out of us in the final.
such a poor player
watching united become shit
imagine winning it and then finding out it's sunderland vs west ham
know it's easy to confuse them though
Chris @ArsenalGriff 2m
@themichaelowen Did you beat a rabbit to death with them too?
It really winds me up. I don't know why, but it really does.
mainly because of how obviously untrue it is
should be one game.
nah stick it up 'em
but far too many times tonight he was trotting around at half speed as if that's all it takes. the guy thinks he's made it already. giving that penalty away as well, good lord.
anyway, maybe we can limp into the final and set ourselves up for a proper humbling.
but i wont bother.
was never a penalty.
Got Sunderland at 7/2 about 20 mins in. Swansea at 7/1 looks worth a shot for the weekend as well.
"I'M NOT LIVING ON CLOUD CUCKOO LAND PAL!!"
there must be some jokes that are actually funny being made about the situation? i just got this sent to me ffs:
almost as bad as the one about not speeding near old trafford because a lot of people are getting 3 points. eurgh. tbh i think the situations funny enough as it is, no need to make any jokes, just sit back and watch
''No. 23 looks hopeless'.
I know Moyes can't shoulder full blame (leeching owners and Fergie's chronic neglect in addressing positional issues and losing a genuine world class midfielder to be due to stubbornness also played a part) but seeing his wrinkled baseball mit of a face on the screen fills me with despair.
Wah! Wah! Wah!
it's only the league cup semi-final 1st leg away from home, don't go mental.
"Ferguson, Charlton and Robson stood there like a Soviet Politburo on the ramparts of the Kremlin, shaking their heads and contemplating Moyes’ exile and quiet execution."
was still manager
maybe. I dunno, at least more people would've wanted to go there and he would actually know what he was doing unlike moyesward
the amount of dodgy set piece goals they're conceding isn't an accident. those defenders have all had really good seasons, can only be down to the coaching.
Gives us the reply box so we don't have to click back - posts it in the wrong place
+ kagawa, welbeck, hernandez, rio, smalling, valencia
call me blinkered, but that squad is better than 7th.
i blame moyes.
I don't see to much wrong with that team at all, apart from central midfield. Playing to their ability, the rest are top 4.
and Utd have been crying out for something beyond the pedestrian in that position for some time now.
6 of that 11 have missed at least a month with injuries. if carrick and rvp had been fit and on last seasons form then utd would probably be 6+ points better off. get nani, jones and rvp fit and get carrick, rafael and rooney fully fit and things SHOULD get better,
with the odd change here and there for tactics, fitness permitting.
i'm really not a fan of 442, but our two best players happen to be up top.
nani, i'll defend to the death - he needs a run of games on the right.
I think I kind of do now but then they'll probably win every single one of their games for the next 3 years starting from tomorrow or something so shutup
