Massive elephant in the room though was the seksual element of it all, which none of them mentioned but was blatantly obvious from all of the queezing and groping that was going on.
Reminded me of another program a few years back - full length documentary about people falling in love with machinery and theme park rides - proper bo documentary that were
there was clearly a sexual element to it which is of course fine but it would have been interesting had they discussed that as well.
they just brushed it under the rug as if it wasn't there.
best bits were the maskers meeting the guy who makes the dolls/masks

read an article about it yesterday though and it sounded a bit like they were coming from a very similar place to drag queens in they seemed to be leaning towards the fetishization of women and the female form.
They were saying its more about being noticed and having a bit of celebrity status when they go out, but underneath it all its purely seksual for most of them.
that was my main problem. I thought they would all look like real life versions of barbie dolls, but they just looked like an early version of Kryten from Red Dwarf with a wig.
