I just did not want to call it a diet thread - I'm just wanting to loose quite a few pounds in 2014, just wondering if a few of you were trying to do the same. Could be!
It's all in the will power they say, well, I think it's more in the the 'eating the right food and getting organised' section myself. So here' s the plan:
I'm not going to eat less (just slightly less) as reducing calories drastically makes you ill and doesn't work in the long run. I'm going to try again as it worked in the past: not mixing carbs and meat, avoiding all processed food and sugars (if possible).
Just started cooking a few things this weekend to freeze so I have (ideally) always something 'healthy' to eat in the freezer just to put in the microwave. Last night was 'Chicken Basquaise' and tonight it's 'Layered Cabbage Dish'.
The worst thing for me will be not eating as much bread as I do now .. I love the stuff.
I'm worried about work days ... what do I bring to work to snack on? I'm always hungry at 11 O'clock and ravenous when I come back home. I need stop gaps!
Any suggestions welcome.
