Who's been? What can you tell me? Did you get vaccinations? What year is it? Who's the President?
i've heard it's nice, I would like to GOA
You knock 'em in
Fucking great leaflet, used it as an example of my work in my interview for my secondary school.
it's.... you should definitely go. It is kind of beautiful and crushingly depressing at the same time when you don't see it during tourist season.
On the one hand: incredible scenery and a real feeling of freedom, incredibly friendly people and mental driving.
On the other hand: mass poverty.
but full of mafia.
I was in Mombasa last year next to a shanty town. The poverty was shocking, the town was scary and everywhere you went was protected by men with guns. Even to walk down the beach. Which made you feel both powerful and completely vulnerable at the same time.
Much like a threesome. An economic threesome.
But ace. It's mega hot and I need to flee the dismal weather here.
I spent a large portion of the evenings driving around on an old motorbike (protip: hire one for the duration of your stay - it cost me £30 for a vintage bike and about £10 in petrol over the course of the trip) in the middle of the night in pouring rain, dodging cows and getting lost and finding bars. Never had trouble once.
maybe you should consider going there instead?
I ain't gonna go
lot of white guys with dreads who 'poi' out there. That's why, although sunnier, tourist season is much worse
