A list of books I've read in 2014.
Last year's (http://drownedinsound.com/community/boards/social/4424375) was a hit, and I'm REALLY determined to read 52 (or more) this year. Which'll make 20 more than last year.
1. Do It For Your Mum by Roy Wilkinson
Been meaning to read this for AGES and finally got it for Christmas. It's part social history, part memoir, part British Sea Power biography (Roy is Yan and Hamilton's brother) and though a little odd (I don't feel like I learnt much about the band besides their love of pot and magic mushrooms) it's a bloody lovely little book, full of funny anecdotes and wonderful imagery. He's a really great writer too, I've completely ripped through this. Recommended especially for anyone who remotely likes (liked?) BSP or British indie of the mid-noughties.
