Is the site ok for you now? A fix has gone up, I believe.
I'll try and remember to check tomorrow morning at work.
and it's went a bit Times New Roman/bare bones sort-of-thing.
No good can come of this.
This option should no longer be visible...
When did if do this?
Site looked a bit funny when I went on it last night at about 10. Still the same (options to delete stuff still there, although it doesn't actually allow it when you click).
Firefox, Opera and Chrome look like http://i.imgur.com/5dYuF0z.png
Which is absolutely fine by me. Loads really really quickly. Good upgrade.
IE8 displays the normal full desktop site. suck it up, IE8 jokerz.
Haven't been able to check DiS on Lynx, but I suspect it still looks like http://is.gd/disonlynx
Isn't .atom the rss?
The Lynx thing was just a wee joke.
Firefox, Opera and Chrome looked fine on XP the last time I looked after posting that screenshot.
Guessing you've cleared your browser cache? :(
Glad to see the back of that bounce.
Doing that shifty up and down thing. You've got 4 hours until AQOS starts. GET IT SORTED MAN!
as I am using Chrome v31.0.1 on XP SP3 and it looks the same as ever.
Chrome says it's up to date.
Can you tell me exact versions of OS and browser you're having issues with. I've just run the site up on windows XP sp3 in ff 24, Chrome 31 and IE8 and all of them look ok. (IE8 is not perfect but thats IE for you)
Windows XP Professional SP3, Chrome Version 31.0.1650.63 m
latest version of Firefox (26.0)
can't scroll down
halfagiraffe - whats your issue, thanks for the update
ethricdouble - on what device/browser.
http://imgur.com/BkNVhBl and screen also shifting up/down a line every 2 seconds.
All i can suggest is you reset your browser cache etc or try hitting it in incognito mode. Like i said its fine in SP3 chrome 31 for me...
Uugghh. It's the shifting up and down that's awful. I can live with it looking ugly but I'm going to have a stroke if I use this much longer.
The font looks slightly different from normal but it's readable and navigable so no complaints here.
Thanks colon the fonts are a bit of a nightmare in IE so unfortunately you might be stuck with that.
But no problem
I think we should call you colon
i couldnt handle a broken dis today so cheers
The alert dialog when going to the homepage (www.drownedinsound.com) is irritating, if understandable. The site itself looks a bit more rough and ready than on Chrome or whatever, but it's perfectly usable compared to where it was a couple of days ago, so good stuff.
HAVE YOU PICKED UP YOUR PENSION YET?
Right guys? Right.
cos they must be old, right?
I get it
Folks who're still having issues, could you try flicking it off? Wondering if this is the cause of the issue.
know your audience
Twice it has refreshed and looked fine. Seemed to do that all on it's own too (went back to tab, hadn't refreshed, looked OK).
Otherwise awful. THE JUDDERING!!
WHEN THE MOON IS FAT.
have cleared cache on both numerous times, restarted the browser, allowed pop-ups, tried incognito mode, etc. Oh well. Works sort of ok in IE, but it's proper slow.
The latest versions of Firefox, Chrome and Opera display barebones stylee (without any CSS applied?). With caches cleared and reloaded. (Perfectly functional and runs superfast, btw).
IE8 gives a warning, and then displays the full/normal desktop site.
