Got a bit of gout myself (self-diagnosed). Was kind of flattered when I saw it described as the disease of kings, but then I saw that related to diet and alcohol consumption not really similar to my own. At least not for 20 odd years or so. Would the lifestyle of your early adulthood give you gout later on?
Really should go to the doctor about it, but seem to be able to manage it with a couple of Neurofen a day. But will that fuck up my kidneys/stomach/some other organ?
Anyway here's a free pass to kvetch about your ailments, real and imagined.
