or just go to the Balti triangle
bit far out
worth it though and the pub next door is pretty decent (Lord Clifden)
Went there for a mates birthday. Cost about £120 a head but the food there is amazing. I think about the chocolate pudding still some three years later.
but Lassans, Purnells, Andersons, simpsons, turners, the marco pierre white one and Saffron are all pretty great.
but I ate in the bistro at hotel du vin when i was staying there with work. It was pretty good.
Trying ot think where else I've been- purnells was good.
I'm really up for trying lasan, it's supposed to be amazing.
My next free weekend is 17th Jan :/ and the next after that is 21st Feb. Not sure how 2014 has managed to fill up already.
i'll be in glasgow. THE POGUES.
was definitely A Really Good Restaurant when I went, but it seems to have been elevated to daft legend status cos it's been on the telly and whatever.
A bit like that fairly cool B&B in Brighton that was in a book and then ubiquitous in weekend newspaper supplements.
In summary: it's good, but not worth wetting yer keks over. (What is?)
It was very good. I think it's the same people who own Lasan
30 mins walk to new street st max
this one comes recommended (i haven't eaten here yet personally) http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g186402-d3348751-Reviews-Topokki-Birmingham_West_Midlands_England.html
10 mins walk down corporation st (next to the que club if that helps). It's a little French restaurant, lovely place and the food is well tasty. Good for romance/friends/occasions and they do special nights also. Not too well known either so a bit quieter but worth booking to be sure...
