Ooft. It is windy out there.
But my wife was like "are you sure?" and I was like "YEAHYOURERIGHTILLDRIVE".
But I *did* have the gear on briefly.
It was not fun.
Rain later too. Might just stay in work all night.
3 times better I guess.
imagine how much fun it would be for a sentient scrap of paper outside on days like this.
when I saw an M&S bag for life being blown about in the road earlier and cars just driving through it. If it was sentient, I'd say if anything it looked scared and lonely and blooded pissed off to be stuck in a circle of hell on Bath Street.I wanted to run over and rescue it but I dind't.
to explain your reference
Someone's drawn a cock on me in biro. :(
as I won't get to see them for a few weeks because of busy life.
Was told when getting off that there would be no trains back to glasgow until 4pm today. Considering I have a deal completing, and I didn't fancy a 60 quid death-taxi up the m8 at 6 this morning, I just went to my mum's for a glass of wine and then headed straight back to gLASGOW on the train.
Fuck all sleep because of car alarms going off repeatedly, and then one of my skylights (or is it a velux? who cares) blew about 5am. of course, being borderline insane I obviously woke my neighbour (he was actually already awake, I could hear him listening to erasure) and got him to hang onto my ankles while I dangled off the roof and fixed the skylight by whacking it with a huge pole.
This all sounds like a bad porn. I can assure you that me in my oilskin parka and wild hair, being dangled at 5am by my petrified, reluctant and very camp neighbour is not sexy.
The result of that skylight being open means that my kitchen is a wee bit wet, but my oven has never looked so clean and my pants won't need watered again this side of christmas.
you'd have ruined that poor man's life!
I get on that roof quite a lot, it's quite safe, and even if he's let go of my legs, I'd have aught myself with my arms against the guttering on the other side. I just wanted some company really in the rain.
so much gold
ah. i see this had been covered downthread.
I think that PO should write an autobiography, full of her POisms. It would be the only erotic fiction that I would consider purchasing.
The turning of mild calamity into comedic allure is genius.
I Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo want to meet her.
ve managed to get a chill. Brrrr.
slightly older twin brother.
I've written two auto-bios already and I hate them both so I'm ripping up starting again. Again. or maybe I should just give up.
anyway, it would be lovely to meet you creaky, if you ever find youself back in scotland.
Plants. My lovely little january bulbs are swimming!
made my white narcissus flower even better! i also have hyacinths which are starting to sprout (I thought i'd kileld them a cople of weeks ago, but they're just being slow.) I have decided that i like grtowing things. 2014 is going to be a year of growing many things.
i just hope the wind doesn't change direction before i go home and that we stick with our weak southern gusts rather than what youse have got up there.
and i'd like to utter a mild, "fuck you" to the weather.
Wasn't planning to but left my car elsewhere last night and only realised as I left the house this morning.
Wind didn't cause too many problems. Not sure what the wind is doing later, journey home might be worse.
is children screaming.
it's not that bad really.
but I nearly got blown into the canal when I was crossing :(
it's already been cancelled.
Ms that important.
one is inconvenient, the latter i likely won't get into london until nearly midnight.
Think shakira after ten minutes hooked up to the national grid, and then some backcombing for good measure.
a gluwein lunch tomorrow.....
I'd be up for that too. Pretty manic right enough so not sure if i'll be able to swing it but i'll see how i'm set the morrow.
that big chunks of text are getting eaten from posts. I woudl but I'm going into my completion meeting now. booo.
we can play tmw by ear. I may find myself packing for dublin over the lunch break, but will hopefully still get away for a bit.
The wind was mostly behind me so I went really fast. Not looking forward to the journey home though tbh pal
I'm hoping for a lightning fast cycle home later. Was hard work this morning.
one of those times was not today, thats for sure.
A lucky escape apart from I was asleep at the time and I don't go that way.
went outside and it was fine.
(walked instead of cycling. but mainly cos i'm off to the christmas market after work for glühwein and other indulgences)
Deserve a fucking medal.
it's Hilly McHill everybody.
It's an ivory hill
Not really it's just made from ground
still a bit boasty though. You and that bloody hill.
Glasgow now. It's heading south east though.
showing the Tyne overtopping the quayside.
I'm terribly homesick.
I didn't know if you were being iffy about putting someone else's picture on the Internet.
on this persons twitter feed: https://twitter.com/Katie_Davies23/status/408632703203160064/photo/1
and get the tube home rather than cycle. Seems to be mental outside. Is this a really wuss thing to do?
that's errupted over round my office. I say tube it.
I just drank some tea
did some crap other thread.
Quite rightly it's been shunned.
Barely any wind here in Watford. I can't wait to leave.
I am going to the xmas markets for gluwein and i'm not dressed for it. RIP PO.
You'll catch a chill...
I have a fur wrap thing though, and I'm going to wear it almost like a vest under my suit. I'll be like michael j fox in teen wolf if anyone catches a peek through my shirt.
