i know people that do the reverse. they buy something and then will return it without a receipt when the price goes up, making a small profit. only works at mega global corporate chains who don't care about receipts because everything's a writeoff though.

You get a refund for the price you paid, whether its on sale or not.

I thought there was even some sort of requirement that they offer this to customers if the price change is within 30 days. But even if there isn't, there's a good chance they'll just give you the difference because it's a bit shoddy if they don't.

when i started posting on dis many many years ago, 'chris-budget' was briefly my music making name as i was using really really cheap equipment, liek stuff i got from car boot sales for £2, free softsynths, an old hardly working computer, really old version of cubase, things like that - so it comes from that
