which means many a week goes by when the bins don't get emptied and two of my stupid housemates start complaining about how they weren't picked up and i'm like yeah that's coz no one put them out you idiots
which i reckon is pretty good service relative to some collections that won't touch a bin if it's even 5m out of place. they return it to the pavement though, which concerns me for when we go on holiday
is collected wednesday. every week
then I have a blue bin (paper/card) and a brown bin (cans, glass, plastic) that alternate collected on a thursday (yesterday was blue bin day). also have a green bin for garden cuttings etc that goes with the blue bin. in the kitchen also have a grey small thing (approx 4 litres) that has biodegradable bags for food waste that goes in the green bins.
I generally take most waste down to the bins from the kitchen, but a neighbour maureen puts the bins out on to the street. unless shes on holiday.
level of waste varies, but Id say we average a bin bag of general waste every fortnight.
we have 2 grey bins, 1 blue, 1 green, 1 brown, between 6 flats.
the bin i ended up with has stuff stuck to the bottom inside and was outside the wall slightly in front of their house, our bin is normally infront of our hosue and doesn't have something stuf to it inside. I'm trying to not let this bother me.
There's a load of green bins and a load of grey bins. I don't know which is rubbish and which is recycling, but judging from what's in them, neither does anyone else. It's a very distressing place.

I'm so proud of how little rubbish we have
We have recycling boxes too, but we have just one black bin bag a week out there and it's because I'm such an amazing cook!
And it's not even full!
as i have lived in this house the longest now the responsibility is largely on me
which means many a week goes by when the bins don't get emptied and two of my stupid housemates start complaining about how they weren't picked up and i'm like yeah that's coz no one put them out you idiots
they get collected from the gated front yard of our house
which i reckon is pretty good service relative to some collections that won't touch a bin if it's even 5m out of place. they return it to the pavement though, which concerns me for when we go on holiday
which bin?

I think we've ended up with our neighbour's bin this week, I'm not sure if it was intentional, but i do suspect so
the bin i ended up with has stuff stuck to the bottom inside and was outside the wall slightly in front of their house, our bin is normally infront of our hosue and doesn't have something stuf to it inside. I'm trying to not let this bother me.
Kill them and everyone they've ever loved
All the bins for our block of flats are in a room in the basement.

Rubbish thread.
