how unacceptable is this?
or should i say GLASSy??????
No hot drinks should be served in a transparent receptacle
are those mini-mugs that are made of not quite fully see through glass.
I work in a tea house and if I serve breakfast tea or another milky one I always forgo the tiny glass cup that's part of the ceremony and give them a mug even though my boss keeps me warning me not to. Tea with milk in a glass does not taste right or stay warm long enough.
and we do food, so I guess just a late night licensed cafe. We do have 30 different teas and ridiculously pretty tea sets though. It's the best place to work, and I've been promoted to head of arts and events and taken over the curators role from the same guy who curated the David Shrigley exhibition, who they've ended contracts with in favour of me! :D Woo!
That said I am still on minimum wage. But I quite like being poor I think.
And what about those smoked glass mugs you used to get all the time ~20 years ago?
You're just being odd!
but I would like to point out to you that latte and cappucino, my dear Theo, are not tea.
I like the smoked glass mugs, for black tea. Similarly I won't drink tea from a mug that is anything other than white on the inside. Dark coloured mugs can bore off.
Aside from taste, they are both caffeine drinks that should be had hot and with milk (or cream in the case of coffee) in them.
somebody should tell all of the middle east
That's why the condescending bore hates them
as long as you have it with toad in the hole and baked beans so everyones knows to stay away from you
