if not then I am hereby starting one.
Read the book ages ago and loved it so excited for the film.
and there've been shit loads of free screeners doing the rounds for it of which I've missed every one so far.
And looked like McAvoy was clearly having a ball in his role.
I find our very own songs_about_ducking a bit of a dead ringer for McAvoy.
also, slightly biased as I love seeing anything filmed in Edinburgh.
was a bit sceptical when I saw the initial trailers but looking forward to it now.
I like films that are set in places that I know, it adds an extra layer of interest to see how they put their version of the city together.
but everyone else I know seems to like it so maybe I was in a bad mood.
but think I'll be struggling to find anywhere showing it
Gobsmacked, it was that good. One of the best leads i've seen in a long time, and it makes up for the shit i've had to endure at the cinema this year thanks to my mate. May see it again this week.
A good ol' (unnerving) romp.
~~~ SPOILERZZZ ~~~
Kinda have to mention the Jacqueline McCafferty factor.
Was impressed. Thought McEvoy was excellent (particularly as he was very much against 'type' in it).
It doesn't go five minutes without something a debauched fucked up thing happening.
100% agree on the Jaqueline McCafferty thing.
that was the best bit. It was ok but not as good as it thinks it is. McEvoy was superb though.
thought mcavoy was brilliant but the film as a whole was just "ok", it felt incredibly 90's at points
not really filth
