highlights: going to nando's, Brentford winning when I expected them to lose
lowlights: everything else pretty much. constant bad mood, not sure why. sucks.
work. been here two hours. want to go home ASAP.
I'm starving, I could eat one now.
Cookies will have to do though
chips with the peri peri salt
was a bad decision as I wasn't that hungry but still ate it all, spent the rest of the afternoon uncomfortably full. should have had a quarter.
Alcohol unit consumed: 1
Crosswords completed: 3
Living. The. Dream.
chap I was playing hasn't got the time any more as he is now doing a masters.
the selfish cunt
I'm currently watching episode 5.
I've got to stay in the house for two days for 3 deliveries and a courier to take away a huge bunch of CDs for mucho moola. Definite series catch up time.
saturday - shopping, football, drinks, wrestling
sunday - gym, gta v, date + ethiopian food, more gta v
as it will destroy my free time, I know it will. Is it *that* good? :-s
his dad topped himself a couple months back, so he has been way out the loop.
asked him how he was - he said his granddad died a couple days ago.
we both actually laughed - which sounds weird, but it is such bad luck its funny. or something.
told him good luck with the aids or something.
That's a really bad run of luck.
Take him a banana round to cheer him up.
he is the sort of guy who just hibernates when bad shit happens. He appreciated the reach out, though.
...with the stunner who is just under the half age plus 7.
Went very well.
Saturday Went to visit Mum and she took us out to a brilliant Indian.
Sunday went for a nice coffee before heading back, watched Liverpool beat Sunderland, played some FIFA.
This Morning I woke up about half 4, couldn't get back to sleep so am a little sleepy now. Have a training haircut again for someone at 11, need to go and pick up my wine delivery from the post office, and then playing football this evening
Also, Had the training haircut and he trimmed my ear as well. Didn't really hurt, but the bastard thing bled like anything for like 15 minutes. :(
It was my birthday yesterday (didn't get a chance to do a thinly veiled post so this is it) so on Saturday was out at a bar in Brixton and saw David Line from Seafood play which was well exciting s he's one of my heroes. Had a really good chat with him afterwards too - a very nice man.
Yesterday was presents then pub lunch and cake and sleeping.
Today is first band practice in aaaages with new bassist which should be good.
I got a second interview for the job I applied for!
I went to a party last night that was full of second year university students. Was saddened by someone's reaction when I said I was 24.
A bar in Shoreditch served me a gin and Soda water. Not a bedwetting type, but the bar queue was 5 deep when I finally noticed, so didn't complain.
At a second unrelated bar, I heard a ban play which made me realise I need ear plugs.
Thems the facts...
Good luck with job oojim!
Not sure what the deal is with second interviews.
start a thread about it and canvass advice.
Friday- drove my WIFE and her mom to her sisters and ate lake-caught Trout off a barbeque on a deck in the Canadian bush with family. Was incredible.
Saturday- went into Bracebridge ON and walked about a farmers market. Got to got 70ft into the air on a cherry picker. Then drove to Toronto, said our goodbyes and got on a plane back home.
Sunday- arrived into Glasgow at 11am, picked up our dog at 1pm and passed out after a McDonalds at 3pm. Woke at 7pm, went to Sainburys and watched Burt Wondersome and ate chips. Managed to finally fall asleep around 2.30am this morning.
Back at work. Oh no.
Did pretty much nothing apart from that. Just sitting around bored all the time.
Friday: Visited my Nan, talked about her forming a band with the other old folks in the day centre she visits. Worked that night.
Saturday: Did nothing all day, went to a house party, fell down a stairs.
Sunday: Woke up after having one of those excellent sex dreams where you wake up and it's like you've just actually had sex. Nice one. Then did nothing all day, went back to my house, had two pints in my local, went to bed.
I'm in work now. Found out we're being kept on for another two months! WOOP!
Just talked to one of my housemates who moved to London, really glad to hear from her. Organising a visit in January!
helping my parents move and unpack, helped everything from filing cabinets to sofas fell exhausted but accomplished afterwards.
Also saw some excellent bands at Cafe Oto but was kind of out of it having had about 3 hours sleep in the past 48 hours.
Ran 3 miles, didn't feel like death afterwards
Bought tickets for the ATP's Netil House shows
I had a wonderful weekend. Caught up with a good friend in Peckham on Friday, walked along the southbank and ate over-priced burgers at the BFI, got drunk, danced my face off at Paramore (who were so so so good and fun) with my BF then despite getting the stopping service train home because we missed the fast train by a few monutes and getting off at Maidenhead and on to a replacement bus service we still managed to end up in the Afterdark with our friend Lizzy. Then when we got home at 3amish I had several letters from HMRC finally giving me a tax rebate, I knew I was owed some money but the cheque is 4 times the amount I thought it was going to be :D Trip to America next year to see my big sister and do some travelling around = SORTED!
Yesterday I only moved from the sofa to get drinks or go to the loo. Had a delicious home-made frittata with onions and potatoes and peppers and chorizo for breakfast and then got a Tops pizza delivery for dinner.
I'm happy but so tired today.
A lady stole half a bowl of my posh nuts in the pub after
I'm well good at burpies now
spent loads of money shopping
had a good burger from Tommis burger
made more gnocchi gratin
pulled my neck really bad so I can't turn right
Sorry to hear that, I apologise for the lesser members of the male species.
but he kept asking why I was so cross. ERM BECAUSE YOU SLAPPED MY BUM AND KEEP ASKING WHY IM CROSS.
Missed Where Is My Mind because of it :( :( :(
Quite a quiet weekend, this one.
Stayed in on Friday and watched Agents of Shield (ho-hum), IT Crowd and Organ Black, then got up early on Saturday for hockey, where we lost 3-2, having been 2-1 up with ten minutes to go, then it was out AUN, Karen Gwyer and Petrels gig at Cafe Oto, which went well, then on Sunday it was olegrich and his wife's leaving drinks, followed by dinner and Simon Schama at my girlfriend's.
If I didn't have such a strong love for Coby Smulders I'd not care about it at all
I kept thinking "I've seen her somewhere else before".
I'm hoping that the first episode was just a bit of a mess because they had to get the team together quickly - Whedon's other pilots have been a bit iffy, so I'm prepared to stick with it.
Nice to see that there's a Dushku character in there, although Fitz/Simmonds were annoying.
Also, Ming Na is 50. 50!
- the whole Coulson thing has me interested.
- excited that Extremis showed up.
- flying Lola. thanks be to god.
went to big ikea and john lewis in southampton, i didn't liek southampton much
had anxiety dreams yesterday - need to sort some stuff out
trying to sort my rent issues out today (i don't hold out much hope)
Long weekend of booze fun and post-booze misery.
Went to Chinatown
Saw Blue Jasmine
Didn't get much sleep ;)
Cycled to Richmond and went around the park looking at dear and climbing fallen trees
Stopped at some Japanese place
Went home and watched bad movies
She left for a bit while I made an emergency debut for FC To Madeira, we were beaten but thought we made a really good account of ourselves against the top side in the Premier League.
Met up with her again and strolled around Covent Garden area, stopping at Laduree for macarons and an argument.
Made up and then parted ways.
*looking at dear who?
*playing next week?
Not sure about next week, might be going to Oxford.
Let me know either way. Booking some holiday soon, So might come annoy you more often.

This week: nothing much. Gym and that. Got a 4 day weekend as it's my birthday next week :D
Saturday golf at a course owned and designed by someone from Judas Priest. it was good, I played OK. Saturday night out for beers at da boozer.
Sunday bits of this and that, went for a run, watched football.
Saturday: Day out in Brighton mainly spent in pubs. I now want to move to Brighton
Sunday: NFL at Wembley. 2 average teams but a great game and all down to the last play so can’t ask for much more than that.
Toady. So very tired.
Friday - Got some shite texts from my ex, that upset me, so i drank lots on my own in the flat.
Sat - Did lots of painting/cleaning in flat in between running down to the pub for the odd pint to break up the monotony. Sat night drank lots, back to mine stayed up late with friends drinking and listening to music.
Sun - sat in pub all day and hung out with my wee nephew, went to see dead meadow at broadcast.
Summary of weekend - meh!
Down in london this weekend, canny wait! One day travel pass or something!

Sunday - 4 hours of cleaning, mostly dusting and scrubbing the skirting boards, went to a Deep South theme pub for sisters birthday and ate vegetarian gumbo, drank loads, went back to their flat.
I'm gonna be sick. In uni 12-7 :( :( :( :(
don't think I can go in today :(
but I should proabably do some learning. Help :(
if you're feeling poorly you can always leave and catch up online, if your university has blackboard or sommat?
done no work for any of my course and can't work spss :(
simply because they're a pain to catch up on if you miss them.
I will go in late and I can get the underground there and a frapacinno
I was walking along the street in Manchester and was aware that the two guys walking behind me spitting a lot. I just thought they were grebby bastards.
Then they sped up, walked past me, turned, laughed and then literally jogged on.
So I said to my mate "is there spit on my back?"
He had a look and said "Nope. Why?"
I said "Oh, I'm just being paranoid. I thought them lads gobbed on me."
Twenty seconds later, in slightly better light. My mate said "Oh wait. You're actually covered in spit. It's fucking everywhere. Fucking bastards. Let's get 'em."
I spent yesterday properly moping about how I didn't deserve that shit.
Other than that, a decent weekend.
I told someone off for spitting right outside the door to a hospital the other day too and he told me to "chill out."
You win, society.
not an overreaction at all xxx
Then they'll really regret wasting all that saliva on me.
Seriously though, fuck those guys and the horse they rode in on.
I don't get why people act like that.
Seeing Laura Marling tonight. Today is my Wednesday so that's good. Basically can't be arsed though
There's some builders in my neighbours garden smoking though so this is quite precarious. Wish I could just so the honourable thing and puke.
think that's. good sign.
Any tips would be brilliant
like san pellegrino - it has salt as part of the recipe. you get your vitals back pretty fast
About to have a mocha frap (Starbucks spelled my name right for once!)
Just don't even know where to begin. Let me get sleepy zara off my chest and attempt a cup of tea.
but i keep sweating in the office :(
Very much marred in the morning by my daughter crying hysterically as she thought she was coming along too, once she'd calmed down she gave me a cuddly owl to take with me and watch the game with, so I spent the pre-match time doing a photo documentary of the owl's debauched experience (drinking guinness, getting cuddled by cheerleaders, throwing things off the Hilton bar balcony, twerking during Tinie Tempah's pre-game show) and the cheerleaders wrote a nice note for my daughter that she was dead chuffed about, so salvaged that one.
Also rode my BMX from home to train station, to see if I can manage it every day to aid the commute. My legs need more exercise, it's pathetic.
It reminded me of the time we took photos of a toy monkey we had posing with my Mam's bottle of Smirnoff before we hid it on her. The monkey had stolen it (so the story we had made up went).
PS: It was a present she had just received, we weren't hiding it to keep it away from her! The lady barely drinks!
I get sad in liverpool as it reminds me of my dad but a nice sadness, and it was a good weekend, there was a barman on one bar that never took my money for any drinks and bumped into lots of nice people.
Also, I want to go to South America right now, and never come back.
I was explaining to him how i'd happily move over there and never come back, he welcomed the idea! Maybe not forever but i think i am gonna go over and see him for a bit.
and so I've got loads of south american cousins that I'd love to meet (apparently one is at Liverpool Uni at the moment so I need to find a way to contact him and meet up).
Also, I wanted to see you when I was in Glasgow last weekend! But I'll be up again soon no doubt
Didn't realise your were making the trip north, i was in ibiza overdoing it! Well make sure and get in touch when you make your next visit! :)
which is the place I least want to visit but still, it's good to have a place or several places to stay and new people to meet up with. None of them speak English though so more reason to get back into my Spanish.
I was overdoing it in PO's presence so probably in no fit state to meet anyway!
My aunt married an American diplomat, he was the ambassador to Ecuador for a few years which coincided quite nicely with my gap year :)
So i'm all posh and middleclass now.
Went for a few drinks yesterday; oddest, beagle, dulcimer, elektrik & the bar.
Today it's my birthday so letting the missus take me out for tea, possibly at coriander.
so come and visit me, you'll know it's me because I won't be playing awful music like the other staff do :)
I'm running an arts festival there on 13th, booking some bands and stuff today in fact. Come then!
My missus wants to try there aswell, so we will pop in on the 13th
Had a superb time. So much great music, so many friends to catch up with.
My Bruv drove back to London straight after the gig and got home just after 7.30am on Sunday Morning.
Didn't do much yesterday.
V v good.
I've found the best A/W pub/restaurant ever.
Went to bed at 1 - woke up at 4. Sat up and watched news until 7. Feeling good...
but you're right, he has never tried to pull me. I just saw him about 15 mins ago, he's looking knackered.
Perhaps I was thinking of Billy Joel. Again.
and now can't come on holiday with us. Or drink alcohol for the next six months.
Went and saw Prisoners, which I really enjoyed (if that's the word). On the way back from the pictures I was walking along and felt something bash me on the back of my knee. It was a dog trotting along with a boxed frozen pizza in its mouth. Its owner was a little way behind and said "He thinks he's having that for his tea."
but i htinkj i need an xray.
should have been working on a few things, ended up trying to sleep off a cold with help from lovely codeine.
pixies was absolutely brilliant - thinly's first time seeing them, she was so happy it was brilliant.
saw the new woody allen - very, very good indeed. saw flight which was uneven and not quite what i expected/wanted. saw silver linings playbook which i found disappointing - wanted more substance also maybe more com less rom.
spent sunday writing about the kinks and lemonheads, went to the pictures to watch old episodes of twilight zone then goosed out in front of the last star trek film which i really really enjoyed. dont know what everyone was moaning about. The Last Episode tonight. filled with dread and excitement.
How you feeling PO?
Baby's christening was yesterday, I had to work ALL DAY SATURDAY and it was my school reunion on sat night too. Oh and I ended up out at my pal's karaoke night last night too. Oh and I think I might be cominng down with something. I feel quite sad.
But other than that, I am tiptop!
How are you?
Was in the gym at 6 this morning and by 9 I felt like I needed to go back to bed. On an impulse, I booked a weekend at Center Parcs with my boy this afternoon. I sorted it all out on the laptop without him knowing then told him to come over and click the mouse on the ''Submit Payment'' icon.
Sometimes it's good being a dad
Which was a shame.
painted a bedroom.
fixed the wife's golf which was playing up. fuel injector's are quite expensive apparently. Also fixed my car which was time consuming. Mowed the lawn. Played with the kids, drank some nice ales, watched Strictly. Told you it was dull.
and everyone laughed and i'm pining for my pleasant time on the dole.
