I recommend the breast crawl.
Let us know how you get on.
but I didn't want people being put of by your scurrilous ideas
but not awful.
You'll sleep well.
If you're just trying to be healthy go right ahead. You'll feel fine.
I imagine you need all the help you can get putting on mass.
how's this all going for you? the way you talk it up on twitter I'd have thought you'd have reached Schwarzenegger form by now...
'Oh, you're not fat anymore, I mean not that you were fat, I mean er'
So I think it is going well. I'm not looking to be muscly as being short it would look really silly, going more for a boxer's sort of physique, and I'm getting there.
stop being facetious Hatface.
i did not say that you were fat, or indeed put forward such.
(you have btw)
Swim slow and it's perfect warm-down. Bit a breaststroke.
provided they're cool with you taking weights into the pool.
with weight bands for your wrists and ankles.
'Well you laugh but I think you'll find you actually can do that...' such a douche
Unless you're really pushing it and doing drills and stuff, a half hour swim is basically a warm down anyway.
With a stop for a breather every 8 lengths or so.
It's perfectly possible to do that without pushing yourself into getting out of breath and aching your arms, so it you treat it as a warm down, I don't think you'll have any problems.
I maybe would worry if you've done any treadmill/leg stuff beforehand though as that's where any cramp will occur.
but I'd advise you to swim first. This acts as like your warm up for limbs and your cardio.
I don't like the idea of going to the gym, maxing out my chest and shoulders or whatever, then going swimming using them more.
But I find swim-gym works very well. You get a much bigger pump even though you can't lift as much as if you went straight in.
MR OLYMPIA THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!11111111
Gym then swimming. Why would you go swimming, blow dry your hair and shower and then hit the gym? Swimmin can relax your muscles afte a hard time training.
but when someone expresses an opinion, that's the one time saying 'not a thing' doesn't make any sense. go play with your weights
Lifting weights is one of the best things anyone can do, man.
Don't get meat head twats mixed up with what is a great pasttime.
i win the quiz!
cos if you do like arm stuff then go for a swim your triceps will be begging to be put down.
time to ease up on the steroids a bit?
(you too, Chintz)
maybe after you do those big nasty weights you go and have a warm bath or something? Maybe add some lavender oil, that'll soothe you.
well you could just mix the strokes up a bit...one lenght crawl, one length breaststroke, at least you won't overkill a muscle but idk
No-one listens to shit.
and then finished with yoga. Actually I think swimming might help relax your muscles to be honest.
do both at the same time
however many calories you burn swimming (approximately fuck all) just make sure you replace that with food afterwards.
and ran 10k in the evening.
this couple, probably late 20s, got in. At the end of every length, they stopped and kissed. After 10 minutes, they got out. WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THIS? My swimming pool needs a no petting sign.
(This is your standard council swimming pool by the way, not some tropical pleasure pool).
in Sainsbury's. Beret, pencil moustache, tight red jeans finishing above the ankle, stripy top. Then I heard him speaking to his girlfriend, and he was ACTUALLY FRENCH. I'm so impressed with the quality of South East London's fashionable people.
I think I might have mild asthma, I get really short of breath at random times when i'm running, even if I haven't increased the pace and then it just goes.
You might need an inhaler for taking when you exercise.
I don't like the thought of taking an inhaler though
I'm looking forward to it.
Got a link :DDD
I'm going to make a running playlist but I need more than Eye of the Tiger, Party Hard and America! Fuck Yeah! on loop.
just wanted you to know how much I enjoyed the bath with lavender oil
probably just gonna have a shower instead
but i think it would need to be interesting or have a novelty factor to ward off the punishing/boring feeling of doing exercise or I wouldn't be bothered.
I enjoy being told how slow I'm going at regular distance intervals, then looking at a map and charts and graphs of how slow I am.
