doesn't make sense? Au contraire
It's unfairly looked down upon. Sure it's small and can seem a bit grim to newcomers, but there are a couple of good bars, a decent wee arts centre and cinema, a couple of reasonable restaurants, good transport network, lots of green space, and lots of money is being pumped into the cultural sector at the moment - unlike everywhere else in the country. Sure it's a bit rough, but no more so than anywhere else really and Dundonians tend to be pretty laid back in my experience.
I genuinely liked living there, and kinda miss it.
Every time I look at the bbc news for the area some piece of shit's dog has ripped a kids face of or some drunk shit has raped his grandma. Everyone is a bunch of vicious, miserable, backward, twisted cunts. I met a few nice people but they were angels being punished or something.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCbfMkh940Q
I remember the look of fear on one guys face when I went to clap his Staffie... Whoops!
But yeah, the news about anywhere is grim. I certainly saw crime, and was the victim of crime, but I felt as safe as I have anywhere else. It's a nice place, honest.
That there's millions of him, all under one roof?
I posted about him a while back. When I was in Edinburgh last year we saw him but I didn't think it was too crazy as it was festival time. My friend got a shot of him walking down the street with a carrier bag. It's one of my favourite photos.
Does this work?
that walks around Covent Garden calling himself Info Man.
He shouts random nonsense at the top of his voice, offers people directional advice when they're clearly not interested and walk on without paying attention. He also stops cars as theyre trying to turn into the road and shouts at them.
Sure to be some indie points scoring going on below, in disagreement with me, but the guy is seriously annoying.
