Things could have been so so so different. All you had to do was live up to one pledge and nix the tuition fees. You'd have been forgiven for completely fucking up the referendum on the voting system. And you could have deflected pretty much everything else onto the Tories. As it is, the LDs are utterly shafted whatever they do.
And the fact that they went into coalition with the Tories in 2010 and Labour in 1999 and 2003, but not the SNP in 2007 (even though the manifestos, indy ref aside, were really really similar) kinda undermines this claim about not propping up the two party system.
That Tim Farron president chap seems like the only person capable of pulling them out of the wreckage, but things are gonna get worse for them in the short to medium term before they get better.
I'd have probably forgiven them the tuition fees thing if they hadn't fucked up any chances of sensible electoral reform for the next 30 years. Cocking up both was unforgivable.
smashing the #system since 2009
i saw a picture of a guy I didn't recognise and looked like nobody
And it was Nick Clegg. Was out of the country for the election and I guess Ive never seen his face since
Yeah, I haven't seen him in the media in ages.
I assumed he had been put away somewhere.
the man is a non entity
Pure shite
the lib dems have to get rid of Clegg before the next election
he has to be the most toxic politician going. Such a cunt.
I presume they'll wait to see who they are likely to have to form a coalition with.
cant believe i voted for these cunts
his wife (is it his wife?)

Fuck off, Nick.
Oh, Nick.
