Goes on with live broadcast after realising too late. I knew BBC cutbacks were bad but...
yet so funny.
^^^get to it, internets
Is this a dogging video?
But it certainly sounds bad on paper
Check out the brutal honesty in reporting on the labour/birth of Prince George
Are we sure he's not done this deliberately?
A BBC spokeswoman later explained: "This morning as Simon McCoy was preparing to introduce this story, instead of picking up his tablet to hold as he went to air, he mistakenly picked up a ream of paper that was sitting next to it.
"In the rush of live news, he didn't have an opportunity to swap the items, so simply went with it."
I smell a cover-up. It's like Savile/WTC7 collapse all over again
I would say he's almost certainly done this on purpose, to make a point that carrying the tablet around with him is totally redundant.
He's previously noted how ridiculous the charade of holding an iPad is.
that he wasn't expecting to be on air and had picked up the paper for whatever reason then the camera came on and he couldn't stop to put it down....
This is my all time favourite BBC News 24 moment which happens to involve him also. His reaction is so cool and composed, amazing given what happened and how funny it was.
never heard of that before
the weather boy's reaction is beautiful
In reality, he's probably got a few Safari tabs open with Facebook on one, Pornhub on another and a Theo thread about the rising costs of internet cabling.
