It's also a really high-spec 8" tablet, which is about the right size for reading PDFs and the like.
On the other hand, fucking pricy and a bit luxury, frankly. (I reckon the baby would love it if she were a year or two older but by that age I'm sure there'll be new frickin' shit where you can draw on a screen...)
If only it said on the packaging.
I find next quality very poor, which is surprising, given their standing in the high street (above primark, below john lewis
plus, you're a fully formed adult - plain pants for you, kid
I'll probably ignore it, but don't let that stop you
I've noticed that your mum only comes if she's airtight.
it's fucking GREAT
don't know about the mkii though - the chips aren't as good but on the plus side you have a multimode filter instead of just the lowpass that the mkI comes with
but that's not the thing with these, the thing is the envelope ... it's awesomely fast which means you can make thumping beats and crisp percussion on it if you wish and I'm guessing you'll be please with the 2 LFOs that oscillate into the audible range and make for some great screaming distortion
I'm mixing a track tomorrow that's almost entirely made from the Dark Energy and it's so fierce would make trent reznor feel inadequate
I'll post a link up if I get it done
so that's a YES
...not that you'll check back here but what the hey
thanks for yur tips with this BITT - was really helpful in pointing me in the right direction
PAY DAY ON FRIDAY WHOOOOO
you do realise that it's quite a tricky beast to tame? Mind you, it's a beautiful thing to let roam wild
btw, I uploaded a new track last night ...within which I get my Moog Sub Phatty to do a very good impression of a tb303 for some kind of acid galactic picnic music
deep - then acidy!
this is what my Dark Energy sounds like
All the drum/percussion noise, bass sounds etc. are from the dark energy - everything in fact apart from the floaty synth at the start and some crashy distorted hi hats later on
I didn't finish the mix but I thought I'd post up a long unfinished version just so you could have a listen to the sounds
When that beat comes in at 2:30, and more build a minute later.
Is this multi-tracked or mostly live? Or to put it another way, how much of this can you do in one go?
but it could be done live with 3 synths and an MPC or similar for the drums - sampling the various percussion sounds - and a hi hat .... all through a mixer with a delay & reverb send and returns
like chris said - deep, acidy. atmospheric. good stuff
synth it is
quite nice apart from that though
not made of money am i!
DID YOU SPEND THAT ON BOOZE C-B? DID YOU?
gays weren't invented til the 90's, man
Mainly the collar, though.
And the price.
i'm getting the synth anyway
thanks for your input
and no, he's not the fucking milk tray man. maaaaan
also not in the market for a jumper at the moment
other than the nixon bit
You might as well save up for 9 times longer and get something decent, for a lot of money.
I already bought it.
One of the most beautiful guitars I've ever seen.
I thought a Bass VI was actually a baritone guitar so I was expecting your bottom string to be a 'C' or something.
A full six strings of bass will give you some meaty chords.
Except candy apple red with a tortoiseshell pickguard. Mmmm.
If you answered yes, then the answer to your question is also yes.
Please turn to page 58.
Also completely strip it down and rebuild.
Basically I need a cheap 25" 531 frame that's near Manchester. Proving more difficult than I thought.
Very few hills to worry about.
3 for 2 at Tescos.
I saved myself £2.63 today. Hell yea.
if we're talking mince. preferable to the meat variety in chillis etc.
you don't have to pay me. just straight out, pitiful sex.
can you refreeze it though, this is what i always wonder?
it's a ^this thread YSC
just shy of 40,000,000,000,000 cookies
i got the macarroons upgrade instead
(probably not from that store though)
I think they look quite stylish.
i play some games but nothing brand new. want to be able to play starcraft 2 and civ v and sim city without them looking shit
splash out another 20 quid an getthis
you'll hardly be able to play anything on that.
than wear burberry.
It's the new ranges from the last 5-10 years that beem hijacked by danielle westbrook and her children.
In 1914, Burberry was commissioned by the War Office to adapt its officer's coat to suit the conditions of contemporary...but it is unfortunate that it has been adopted by certain types.
I just got soaked. I need a coat, might be a good investment.
you absolute belt
not you in your coat made of glamour
Andy FINE more like!
you're my favourite again
and so is your house
It was standard issue for my old school uniform and it definitely kept you dry, even in scotland.
Be careful with the washing instructions. Ex had a Burberry mac that was uncleanable; wasn't able to be machine-washed, hand-washed, or dry cleaned. Only able to be wiped with a moist soft cloth. If you are likely to get any stubborn stains on your mac, I give it the swerve
the type that require scrubbing
yeah, that's what I'm thinking.
(people who have been to my flat, I will especially welcome your views on this and whether the roof is a death zone for a cat.)
I remember in the days before 'social media' you used to get those emails sent round everyone that with mildly amusing lists, but with all these "WTF?!" type comments written by someone who obviously felt they were the next Seinfeld.
only I'm not getting any anymore so I was wondering if people just hate me.
get a rescue cat
but given my living situation, that might not be appropriate for a rescue (they tend to have far greater needs. Unless i can find a cat who used to live on a roof and managed not to fall off).
How many floors up is the roof? four and under should be okay if it does fall off.
it's a really old building with massive ceilings on each floor and its outdoor access would be through my upstairs patio doors(four floors up). It would absolutely die if it fell off. but I was hoping that most cats have the sense not to throw themselves off high-up roofs?
But I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable with a cat mooching around on that balcony.
(I know nothing of cats)
(I'm making him get one)
Another one would definitely upset the tentative ceasefire that we have right now between Pug 1, Pug 2 and New Baby.
YES! You should buy that board game!
i don't even know where to start with PCs. amma so sad
and run them well and not have to run them on min graphics but i don't know where to even start!!!!
Your plea to Theo seemed very plaintive
nobody will answer. it's very difficult to know where to start. i'm so sad. why would duck know?
the above post, duckster would know because he plays PC games.
I haven't built one since 2004 so I have no idea.
if so I built my PC about a year ago so I might be able to advise.
i sort of was but then the general consensus was that you don't really get that much more for your money by building. i just have no idea where to start in terms of trying to work out how much i should be spending, what i should be avoiding. NO IDEA.
but it really depends on what options the pre-made stuff give you. When I last built a PC I did look at pre-built items and even for a general 'non-gamey' one it seemed impossible to get the soundcard you wanted combined with the graphics card you wanted, plus the most lag-free SSD + HDD combination.
Also you'll probably have loads of bloatware on the machine regardless of what you buy, something that doesn't happen with a clean build.
Alienware used to do gaming machines but I seem to recall you had to do some research as a lot were overpriced.
seems like they are basically targetted at kids who will be getting their parents to buy for them.
something like this would probably do the trick
The case is a bit silly but the specs would easily allow you to play the games you mentioned if you can splash a bit more (okay £200 more)there's an i5 variant with an nvidia 650i
That said it's easily upgradeable if you'd want to go that route in the future.
but building one straight from scratch now, doesn't seem worth the hassle (monetarily anyway).
this at least feels like a starting point. thank you :D
that might be worth checking out
£16 and it arrives a week after it's meant to come out.
really looking forward to this, but unless its £15 normal price no way
comes a week after its release date and costs £16
Mrs Z was saying "we should get some new towels". I was neither here nor there really.
We seem to have plenty towels mind. Wonder what she meant?
£40 seems cheap.
I love Zara for being cheap, but not looking cheap.
it looks pretty classy, gets a yes vote from me.
but it looks a bit summery to me.
FOR SUMMBER. IT'S A SUMMER DRESS.
Join the Hicks club I mean? I like a lot of the ties.
Also you'll watch it once more and then move on.
I only own two boxsets, this and Friday Night Lights and I will wear them out. I also have The Wonder Years which I'd sell but I don't think it's sellable.
let's end capitalism together
until then, binge.
Having a tough time deciding. Could take this to the pedal thread but I feel like I need a more frivolous response.
Should I get a:
Joke's on him. I have an untraceable mobile, paid for outright on a PAYG SIM topped up with credit of varying amounts bought from a random rotation of independent newsagents. All done with cash, natch. Coins, obviously, in case any notes are security marked.
well, I like this watch and given that I have seen the same watch for £6k and this one is 'only' currently £2.5k I thought it might make a tidy investment/profit
For keepsies, no
I need a new bed spread but I cannot work out which one I want, so..
A. From Ikea so new and fresh, however everything I get from there is a bit itchy and I would have to get a bus
B. this one from my local charity shop, issue being it is a bit old but I don't have to get the bus there
