but why is he selling for 100k if , and i quote from the sales pitch , "An ungraded copy of this card can earn over $20,000.''
if this one has the highest rating it will be marked up
what does graded mean in this context?
graded means it will have been looked at and given a rating based on its quality. ungraded means that hasn't happened and it will be a bit of an unknown
essentially, he's saying this is the only card that's gone on the market guaranteed to be in mint condition.
surely something like this would better be done in, like, a Japanese auction house or something? feels really weird to do it via ebay
but you've got to remember he's shipping it for free.
