Cheap non league games: footballing myth
There's little difference between BSP and League Two in terms of prices. Going somewhere smaller is better anyway, more relaxed, most likely to be decent beer at cheap prices, less likely to be a dully game.
but Arsenal have given Boreham Wood the use of their coach for their trip to Weston Super Mare:
I'll be going to see Whyteleafe, two weeks running.
This week for the Non league day and then again for their FA cup match the week after. There ground is only a 10 minute walk from my house and they are showing the Manchester United vs Palace game in their club house before kick off.
Whyteleafe are unbeaten this season too, should be good.
If I show my Palace season ticket, I can get in for free. That does feel a bit wrong though.
just stick a tenner in the pot when you go in or something.
have any OTHER horrendously debilitating afflictions???
You lot are hostile, I was planning on just paying anyway.
I'm tied up with hockey stuff all day on Saturday so can't make a match at all.
Usually games for NLD only end up on Sunday or Friday if there's clashes due to groundshares and cup games, but this season it avoids the big three cups.
Only one I'm aware of is Cambridge City.
No idea where they're playing now though.
There's a handful of games on Friday but mostly in Wales/the Midlands.
might go to Cheadle Town.
Sir Gav is assistant manager
We always struggle against Rushall, big physical team
My first home game of the season. Fingers crossed our fortunes will have picked up following our beating of Wrexham.
Strathclyde Saturday Morning Amateur Football League
Might go Hampton & Richmond v Maidstone as my best mate's birthday festivities are starting around Richmond on Saturday.
or Glossop North End vs Nostell Miners Welfare.
