Do you wear a lanyard at work?
If 'no', is this through personal choice or lack of opportunity?
what a terrible day
but I will in about two weeks or so when I get a new ID card. if I remember to go and get a new photo done, which I won't.
I worked for a couple of days somewhere before here (I walked) and the only good thing about that place was they had thumbprint recognition doors. Beep Boop.
here, no lanyard, we have codes on the door.
we agreed the word is too good to waste on what it actually is.
Don't actually need my card in this building anyway - any fucker can waltz right in and stab me to death.
and it is very faded and has the wrong job title on it. My job title changed a couple of months ago and I keep not bothering to get a new one. Time to take it off now. Hometime. Yay.
there's a name for those things
Card sits in my wallet oyster style, because I'm a London Wanker.
Just a key fob to get in the door
lack of opportunity
I went to a place on the south coast this weekend called Langton Matravers. Very much the same thing.
What is a lanyard? Is it like a tabard?
So I wear just the little magnetic electric fob thing that is worn so much its going to eventually fall off one of these days.
goes in the pocket. despite department briefing reminders to wear it. tru reble.
every time i try to take it off i get my hair tangled in it somehow
i've still got a temp pass after 10 months. i'm trying to see how long i can go before someone notices and makes me get one with a photo on it.
he's clearly not even monitoring his own lanyard audit
Forgot my own one. So embarrassing.
I can see my allocated lanyard, it sits on my desk as a reminder that I have to option to be a lanyarder. But I have long since removed the access card from its lanyard holster, and keep it tucked it away in my wallet.
