Can't remember ever crying so much at a film
It was ok. Not the classic that people seem to say it is.
Pixar from Toy Story through to Toy Story 3 is like the film equivalent of Bowie in the 70s or Dylan in the 60s.
Strong words, bro
Specially the opening sequence
I think I was put off because it didn't seem all that interesting from the trailer, obviously I'm a bit off here and am going to give it a go tonight.
It's like they did some market research on one 5-year-old child.
>What do you want to see?
> BALLOONS, BIG BALLOONS. FUNNY BIRD,TALKING DOG. GRANDAD.
and then they tried to make that into a coherent film, including that long-winded opening section, manipulative enough for a lot of people to be so busy having a good old sob to forget the other 75% of the film is nonsense.
I didn't like Toy Story 3 much, either. For me, Wall-E was the last truly great Pixar film.
