y'all should get a curry.
I really want a curry now
im supposed to be cooking for a friend ( and in fact I was going to cook curry) but ive decided we're going out for curry instead. Just not sure where yet.
What are you going to get? I might get two and eat half of each and get the leftovers boxed up to have for lunch tmw
Going for a vindaloo with a bit of naan, rice and some keeeeebbaaaaabs. I am ravenous.
Why did Proposition Joe turn down the opportunity to buy a share of some high-quality Chicken Jalfrezi being trafficked from New York?
because he likes Balti more
Like a dry Thai curry,
especially with lamb.
you probably have to be a grown-up to appreciate it like.
nom nom nom /10
Tagine won't contain indian spices, cardamom etc
Now sticking reminder in diary to rescue ice cream maker from parents' cellat when I am back home on monday.
i'm going for a mexican tho.
Are any of the ones in the vicinity of sleazys any good or are we better heading West towards mother india etc? Help.
is that another mother india one?
theres two in the west end and one in cowcaddens. they are a bit cheaper than mother india, worth a look
still pretty good though.
Really fucking like it in there!
but I've never been in myself. I thought Akbar's next to charing cross was pretty good. But you can't go wrong with mother india.
(disclaimer: that was when it was a Balbir's spin-off called summats like The Tiffin Room, before it became Akbar's)
If I had the energy id try the cowcaddens one!
Thanks everybody for your suggestions :)
Really good actually now that I've got over my slight episode.
Amazing, i need him to deliver to me :)
Heh. He's a celtic legend, he must be a hoops fan!
And I got a takeaway from a shady restaurant and it's given me a funny turn whereby I want to smash up my plate against a chimney stack and my pulse is racing too fast. Chilli hallucinations perhaps or more probably pmt. Im going to just smash the plate and pretend it was greek food.
my mum just made me a curry
9/10 would eat again
Now I can barely move! :)
He said the same thing as you, that he'd ordered a curry. He said he couldn't come out and I asked why, he said
"ahhhhhhhm, waiting for my naaaaan
26 six dollars in mah haaaaynd"
I said 'thats an expensive curry!'
he said he liked to get the indian banquet for 4 and freeze half of it, as it was the best value that way.
"all tomorrows chapatis", he said, "especially on a sunday morning. Its always a perfect day".
"wow", I said, "this seems routine for you"
"Yes", he replied, "though sometimes I'll order a pizza and some boeuf bourgignon for my european son"
'Ey! Don't settle for walkin'!'
wish i lived in new york and had a scooter
don't settle for walking like everyone else
Lovely, lovely curry
