Journalists need to stop framing over 50% of their discussion of race and gender with what celebrities are up to
Its all "Rihanna, Beyonce, Miley Cyrus did this and people reacted like this" isn't it. Are hacks forced to discuss clickbait-able names while trying to bring up issues close to their hearts?
Am I just stuck in a Twitter/Guardian/Vice/Times supplement bubble? Should I subscribe to the London Review of Books or something instead?
