The leather mask etc usually gives it away
An experiment of sorts.
I never made the connection between mong and mongoloid until Ricky Gervais got torn a new one for using it a few years ago. Thought it was just a generic insult. I used it so much I'd use extensions of it like mongy and monging as well to keep things fresh.
Also only found out the full connotations of "windowlickers" last week. Best not to think of the number of times I've probably used that in polite company over the years.
i don't know what i can call people anymore. can we make a list of words that are alright? i mean, as soon as we make the list they'll all be worthless anyway. what's the point?

what you feel appropriate. it's up to others to take offense or not.
then they'll just judge you on whether you're a nice person and forgive most un-PC vocabulary, and maybe even find it funny.
If your friends all shit the bed everytime anything remotely un-PC is muttered then either (1) get new friends or (2) you're probably as sensitive as them anyway.
