Finally they've put a queuing function on! A place to store all those interesting looking documentaries I'll never watch
got this confused with that film where kevin costner is a lifeguard. thought that was quite a lot of sarcastic thises
I know it's terrible but for some reason I really enjoyed it.
In the Mood for Love is meant to be very good. Need some recommendations too. Always spend ages looking for something decent and then get bored and don't bother.
Well worth watching if you haven't already.
It's definately on disc there, so get cracking on series 1 & 2, then watch the film to erase the painful memories of the lacklustre last half of series 2.
it's a perfect coda to the Twin Peaks story (or to the Laura Palmer arc anyway), and is definitely - to me - up there with the best episodes of the series (it's better than much of the second season, and - like the aforementioned best episodes - is confidently directed by Lynch).
That said, I should say that - though the final half of the last season definitely jars a lot - it was, for me, always enjoyable and interesting enough. Stick with it, whatever you think though, because the finale is INCREDIBLE (wish I knew what it must've been like watching that as it was originally broadcast).
King Of Kong
Bobby Fischer Against The World
Son Of Rambow
Tell No One, Cell 211, Matango, Hansel and Gretel. Rust and Bone coming later this month too.
Really liked this
Cell 211 and Tell No One
Cell 211 especially, the villain in that is one hard fucker. He's good in Sleep Tight too
Seeking A Friend For The End of the World
Take This Waltz
Kid With A Bike
Not bad, although it's theatrical origins are quite obvious. Still, you get to enjoy the infamous chicken bone scene - yum!
Looking forward to watching Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and Tyrannosaur next.
i'm a big fan of sleezy McConaughey
added TTSS to my list though probably will never watch it
I thought it was vastly superior to Hotel Transylvania but inferior to Frankenweenie from last years animated Halloween batch.
I haven't seen either of those. But yes, I think it's vastly underrated. The last half hour or so is played as a completely straight supernatural drama, it's beautifully cinematic, if it was a live action film it would be award winning. But award things don't give a shit about animated films because they consider animation a genre rather than a medium, so it's Just Anuvva Kids Film. Fuck off, The Man, it's excellent.
sounds reminiscent of Monster House, which I quite liked (despite it losing it a bit toward the end)
Bearing in mind i like watching people getting hit with axes
yeah, it's pretty ok
lots of shagging too. it's like a budget game of thrones i guess
loads of hardcore hitting with axes/swords
And it's got Donal Logue in it. He's excellent. He's also in Terriers. A really sweet TV series with Donal Logue and Michael Raymond-James as a couple of private investigators. It's not on LoveFilm unfortunately but well worth seeking out. It's amazing. Sharp Yet Blunt will back me up.
