In that order
lot better than it was 10 ten years ago. agree with Glasgow at the top. probably knock Edinburgh down a few, has a lot of good sides but can be a bit unfriendly and aloof.
quite quaint really
A lot of places I'd rather spend my youth but its ok I guess
but it's not for unpleasant middle-class Tarquins
Brighton, London, Bristol, Manchester or Leeds.
apart from a year in Loughborough.
So obviously I think Glasgow is best. It probably is though. Friendly, lots to do, the sub pub crawl is still the most ridiculous pub crawl I have done. I guess the Old Firm nonsense isn't as fun (or mildly terrifying depending on your standpoint) as it used to be. I have very fond memories of a girl we were on the aforementioned pub crawl loudly inquiring "Who's Barry Ferguson?" in the Stadium Bar at Ibrox, needless to say we vacated the premises rather quickly!
Always used to think 'urgh that there London is such a dick' but it's actually amazing.
I'm in my early twenties and got rejected for a quite nicely paid internship in London and now I'm still in a small town in the West Midlands.
I think the scary uncertainty of the future makes me prone to whining openly about my current situation
Still wouldn't want to live there permanently though but since the thread title is early 20s that doesn't matter so much!
...just looking for the thread to go with it.
