Anybody here from Sheffield? Why are you all so secretive?
That person from that band that I liked...plays the violin?
Manchester has so many twats and Sheffield has like 8.
do you even post?
need to organise a trip for Tramlines.
Only for the last 5 years though.
It's pretty pretty pretty good.
Tramlines should be fun, even though the lineup at first glance probably isn't as good as previous years - and it's not free now.
didnt know that about tramlines.
Hope 65daysofstatic's thing is though. It's in a museum and theyre all free right?
The whole scheme is quite complicated and I haven't got my head around it. Basically some of the main stages you have to have a purchased wristband, however it's not clear which stages they are.
i'm way too cool for the main stages
That's had good stuff on in previous years.
yeahh, looking forward to theo & maurice though, and shangaan electro.
also everyone at tramlines should come and watch me dj outside at harrisons on saturday pls thx xxxoxox
it could be really nice, but the last couple of times I've been there it's just been, well, odd. Very empty on a saturday night and full of elderly people.
i've only ever been for box jams. they have fun after parties in a little room round the back too.
They all just went there for uni and stayed.
I can't remember why I was there though. Work, i think.
Or am i getting mixed up with Leeds?
only ever been to Sheffield with my old job, lots of council house visits. It has some of the most depressing council estates I've ever seen. Then again, it beats Leeds cos at least in Sheffield nobody ever pissed in a jug whilst I was in the room!
the cinemas are never open
can't be all bad.
which is like Sheffield's idiot kid brother.
Heading through there shortly as it happens. Gonna sit in the Rutland beer garden, have a halloumi burger and get slanted on cider.
I can confirm that Sheffield is still wonderful.
I enjoyed it when I visited however. Might try and go for the snooker next year...
(i would go defo back - it's a top city)
less good in your 20s though
