I have 230 in my Gmail "priority" inbox, and 14,280 if I change it to normal.
i read all emails.
I don't read all of them though
*I read or delete immediately
gonna try not to read any of the rest of the thread
Fuck you Groupon/Zoopla/various things I've signed up to that I no longer need.
Started unsubscribing from stuff recently because it's just getting ridiculous. Still get emails from Eurostar even though I got it once, five years ago.
i still get 10 emails from PRs a day asking me to run stuff on DiS despite not being a write for four years
I open/delete them pretty quick, but if I miss a couple of days all the Groupons and stuff start piling up. I don't resent this though, Groupon is full of good stuff and it will only take a minute to go through them, you should all use Groupon all the time.

Been off of work a lot for personal reasons, and have gotten massively behind.

Hotmail (spammy dumping ground account) - 10,751
I once went on holiday, came back and had loads of unread emails. Couldn't be arsed to select loads to delete, so just ignored them, and it carried on from there.
once it goes past a certain point, it's futile. they're not doing any harm sitting in the inbox anyway
what is the first(Oldest) e-mail in your inbox?
Play.com: Monster Sale Now On - Save Up To 80% (23/12/2008)
looks like i was a bit of a prick in 2005
and that's my work email.
All mailouts that I've read the intro of in the little summary thing that's in the alerts pull-down panel on my phone. They'll get marked as read as soon as I can be bothered to log in on a PC.
60 drafts (i.e. notes), 84 starred (aka do something about this, maybe, at some point)
Christ knows how many in my gmail, let me check.
It makes me feel sick.
My inbox is well neat. I go through my junk email on a daily basis to keep that tidy too.
