As mentioned in the other flat-themed thread, I'm currently flat hunting with the thinly veiled. We've handed in our notice on our current place in Bermondsey - it's lovely and amazingly located, but we picked it when we were in a huge rush and it was more than we planned to pay, and after a year of scraping by we just can't afford it.

For some reason, we've become attracted to Wapping, and are starting the letting agents blitz at the mo. There seem to be a a few places in our price range, and it's still close enough to work to walk, but what else is good there? It's quiet and green and has some great pubs on the river - anything else to recommend it? Anything to be wary of? It's not the best connected place, but that's probably why we can hopefully afford it...
