would you make sure that you hung out with them the day they got back?
assume you like the person a lot
like who, a workmate or a housemate or something? I'd probably give em a day or two to chill out but if they were up for hanging out and I wanted to then yeah!
unless it was my girlfriend?
I can't keep up.
I would't make it a particular priority unless there was good reason. or i was in love with them or something or really wanted to have sex with them, or maybe all of these things.
If it was a good friend then I'd probably wait until the weekend to catch up.
Also, it depends on a hundred other things, like what else is on.
...to move house/change my mobile number and not pass on the new details tbh tbf.
and then I'd break down crying until they promise never to leave again
but I'd bear in mind (if we still lived separately) he might be really tired and not want to hang out the next day.
The only other people I see that regularly are my work colleagues. No for them (even though they're nice).
i agree with all of you, but a friend just used her housemate coming back from holiday as a reason not to do something, and then acted like i was a freak for not understanding how obviously when your bff comes back from holiday you can't make other plans.
fwiw, my housemate/friend is on holiday, and when he gets back i'll just see him when i see him
but maybe they'd made plans together like getting a takeaway and watching a film or something.
You're in the right.
i'm reasonably confident that it's not the case
give em time to unpack and unwind from the traveling
if I'd got back from a bunch of travelling back home, I'd relish the excuse for some guilt-free super-slacking
I'd be hanging out the back of her before she'd even cleared passport control.
but that was a month, and the night ended up shit anyway because it was raining.
i'd quite like it if a mate offered to hang out with me
