anyone still bothering?
likely to be anything better than standard BBC fayre?
lmao, this was so EDGY and MODERN. i love it.
i bet his love affair turns out to be another stooge set up by the sinister retired police officer (whose office is in the bottom of a turkish restaurant for no apparent reason)
She was very keen at 10pm to go meet a stranger on a rooftop for a drink.
idris elba is awesome but he can't save it
the subplot with the crazy girl is ughunfhbfhbmnf
One of those cliche ridden cop shows with pretty poor dialogue and acting but still entertaining and enjoyable.
I award it a McDonalds chip that has escaped into the bag that you find after you've finished off your meal.
My missus spent more time not watching it than watching it, such was her fear of it. There were a couple of really memorable moments I thought when that killer emerged.
If I didn't have so much crap under my bed I would give it a go.
the bit where it was clearly a big bald man sitting under some plastic sheeting in the attic less so.
Gritty like kitty litter. I didn't rate Idris Elba at all before this episode but he's chewing the scenery with relish. Though it was very disappointing seeing her from Resident Evil 2 as the token girl, hope she gets a more interesting part (she is going to be kidnapped and turned into a gimp corpse though, that much is obvious, or maybe she's the mental killer sister of the other mental woman :D).
The couple being stalked in the house was wonderfully John Carpenter, you have to admit that.
first two? series were a fun mess, hopefully this will keep that up. expecting to be entertained
It’s completely ridiculous of course, but I find it really entertaining. That guy sliding out from under the bed was so creepy!
This show is always pretty entertaining. Luther alternately quietly brooding or destroying furniture that looked at him funny.
My boyfriend said "That bit where Justin decided to help the bloke who just choked him, was ridiculous." That's probably not even in the "Top 10 ridiculous things that have happened in Luther".
genuinely laughed out loud at the guy sliding out from under the bed. GODLIKE.
I do adore Luther but the BBC already did this plot in last years 'Line of duty' starring Lennie James. Other wise great first show! How annoying was it when all the violence was happening in the attic the damsel in distress didn't call the police when the phone was next to her!
Laughably bad, isn't it?
Can't stop watching.
last night's episode was one of the silliest things i have ever seen. like - Ripley gets shot at the end because he's cornered the vigilante, then the vigilante gets out by just walking around the fence? wtf? so much drama when Luther and Ripley manage to fight off a braying mob.
Don't know how or why I finished this series. It's got so completely nonsensical now it's basically just a really violent sitcom, right?
Sure it will be. Been fun along the way with some good scares and ideas for killers that differ from the norm, but makes sense to call time. Last nights was even more stupid than ever.
Fuck knows how everybody knew where everyone was or how Luther ran up 40 flights of stairs with one leg. Or drove. Or walked. Or...
Didn't really get why saying Alice saved them both like she said, or how Luther could be arrested for those murderers. Surely if they thought he was guilty of teaming up with that estte agent then they'd. DEFINITELY think that after he gave him a safehouse address and the three key witnesses.
Anyhow, thanks guys. It's been good fun.
