and you don't need any backstory.
Malcolm and Jamie I can think of just now.
It's absolutely fine. Works completely as a standalone and doesn't damage or diminish anything when you watch the Thick Of It.
is the perfect introduction to Malcolm.
and probably would've enjoyed it more if i watched it first. like what olegrich said
They all really liked it. Go for it.
before watching In The Loop, and it resulted in me not really enjoying In The Loop that much at all. Might have to revisit it again.
but I really liked it the first time, though.
without getting distracted by getting a bit emotional about Gandolfini?
Film first, then the serieseses.
If anything you'll be less confused by Chris Addison playing a different character with an almost identical appearance and personality
If you do, expect to be woken in the dead of night, and dragged to Hereford to spend a day in the stocks being pelted with tomatoes with Malcom Tucker quotes written on them.
who loved The Thick Of It but thought In the Loop kinda sucked?
Take him away boys.
thought In the Loop was pretty shit/much, much less funny
So if The Thick Of It is that much better I'm in for a treat.
Already a big fan of Malcom Tucker!
In The Loop is set in an alternate universe to The Thick of It - Yeah, the characters play pretty much the exact same roles but the whole idea is that it's completely fucking separate from The Thick Of It. You fucking arseholes.
