does anyone still use yahoo?
to spend on this. are they still that big a deal?
and yahoo has their fingers in a lot of different pies, which helps. like for example one of the best NBA writers writes for yahoo, so I go there a couple of times a week for that alone.
but i guess they also probably made a pretty gigantic sum of money in the early days and can afford to branch out.
So I can look at them
It was simple to use which I liked, but I felt like I was never making the most of it.
Now I just associate it with those feeds that are like 'My face when my boss says go home early' *gif of a dog going nuts*
as it's not one of those gif sites.
You're A Man Now Dog for £1.3bn?
and they shit the bed on that actual good site.
Thankfully they sold it to the originators of YouTube before it was completely abandoned and left to wither.
Strange to think that Posterous was considered a competitor to Tumblr, for a while, until they messed about with it. Stranger to think that Twitter then bought it just to close it down.
if you follow good people, it has a really decent artist community. you can't complain that facebook is bad if all your friends are twats. actually, maybe you can.
yahoo just didn't do anything to flickr, did they? like not changing it in 5 years
looks incredibly dated and horrible. http://www.flickr.com/
have another look.
"If the Internet really were a series of tubes, Yahoo would be the leaking sewage pipe, covering everything it comes in contact with in watered-down shit."
the real reason why everyone has a tumblr
i've noticed lots of the porno hashtags redirect back to the homepage, starting from like a week or so ago. guess it is because of this
god i fucking love tumblr.
what a site.
bloody knew it.
you're going out with a los campesinos fan that you met from tumblr and lives 100 miles away.
Good work, yahoo.
i mean i know geocities is popular, but not 1.1 bill surely?
think i might be a bit late to the party. but i had to make one to join flickr.
probably more dads start to use it after reading about it in the paper
old yahoo email addresses you had: schlodester at yahoo.co.uk or something
