if you have two duvets on your bed, your life is better
it's gotta be too warm down south.
but the Summer duvet is too cold. Need a spring duvet that can double as an Autumn duvet when the time comes.
It's two duvets that zip together do you can have a 13tog one in winter, 9 in spring and autumn, and 4 in the summer. It's really clever.
will probably just do the budget thing and stick a few limbs out the duvet to cool down though
you get even more control over your temperature, covering the bits that need covering and uncovering the others.
also, if you share your bed, you can move without disturbing the other too much
and you can make a comfy sofa out of your bed to watch tv
it's v good
like a child might
or on top of one and under the other? (whey!)
Cos I agree, but it is the latter for me
I was too. I have a duvet and a quilt on top of each other, it's great.
can be anything
one on my feet, one on my chest
one to lean on, one to keep warm
use your imaginations people
you don't need to use a duvet
massively cruel to animals
I think you need to get a better one.
rather than one on top of the other she folds them in half length ways so together they are the width a standard double duvet. works good for when you share a bed, yep.
having your own duvet in a double bed.
Particularly if you share a bed with someone who tends to hog the duvet.
just end up throwing most of them on the floor when i want to sleep though, a bit of a waste of time
what the wtf
two big pillows to lean back on, two small pillows in front of that and an even smaller pillow in front of both of them, in the middle.
Typing that out and saying it out loud made me realise how ridiculous that all sounds. i promise i'm not loony.
sometimes i lay a blanket on top of that if i'm cold
That's what I said now
I got this shit down man.
Thin one for me, thick one for her. Great stuff.
my little pony for you, spongebob for her?
with a j
two duvets, without sheets. loads of pillows, all without sheets. lie on one duvet, the other over you, a pair o' totes and a wooly hat on, elecy blanket underneath.
you have to replace the duvets quite regularly as they get a bit manky, but if we're solely thinking about comfort, that's The Best Way.
was enjoying the image of you getting up to go for a piss wearing a wooly hat and totes
just in case someone breaks into the house or there's a fire.
I feel like I can't breathe thinking about this.
I was reading Surfacing last week and couldn't leave my window open. Worst night ever.
YOU DONT HAVE TO SLEEP *UNDER* THE DUVETS
TO HAVE A GOOD TIME
I dislike this a big amount.
(this has put Two Princes in my head, so it's not all bad)
how're you liking it?
I loved it! Intense though, right? It changed my mood all week!
really grim kind of earthy quality throughout, and the ending was such a mindfuck
I saw a beetle and felt like I was turning into her.
V powerful. I love books that do that.
Was it you that recommended it? Thanks if it was!
i need to check out some more of her early stuff, prolly read blind assassin next time round though, been meaning to fer ages.
and obviously now this. I'm sourcing more as we speak...
Have you read Dark Matter? I feel like you'd like this.
(which sounds like an enjoyable romp, doesn't it?) it's very atmospheric.
cos u sold it to me hehe
gutted, bro! haha
that was a good post
just making sure because everybody's talking about literally two duvets for yourself.
but yeah it's the only way to go. why spend so long pretending you can share one? you can't, accept it.
