how much ya squat?
So I reckon about 191kg?

i think struggling on the 6th rep is a good thing. i used to go for 8 clean but i'm not sure its needed.
it's low, yes, but i am moving up from being a wee silly skinny indie boy to a ripped mother fucker.
that's about 70% of my max weight though. i could to a single clean 110% at 45+ i reckon. but that's not my workout regimen.
Start light, learn the technique and form, and build up your strength. Are you doing a program?
currently in week four of a twelve week programme. my form is much much better, and the programme is a mixture of a range of things and uses all my free weights and stuff. it's been a total revelation though - i actually love breaking through the pain barrier now whereas three weeks ago it might've stopped me. but yeah, it's ace.
also the gains are incredible. already noticing the change in my traps and biceps, and my legs are stronger than ever. also, im combining it with a major diet change and a brutal abdominal workout and the whole package is incredible.
I think with using weights tracking your progress is quite important, and thinking 'I used to struggle with that weight... not so much now!'
I've been training a year or so and my body shape has changed a lot! (Though not drastically to like a pentagon or anything.)
But presumably more than 40 kg.

never really been to a gym before or since, ahhhh. pretty much my only natural talent, if only i was even remotely interested in lifting weights. never done a squat, got tiny chicken legs.
Not that you'd know it from how ripped I am.
I don't usually have a spotter though, so it's harder to push yourself for heavier reps without worrying about flattening yourself.
Squat about 110kg but not tried for a 1RM in a while. Can do sets at 100kg though.
Deadlift 180kg though which is by far my best lift.
