so I went over on my ankle pretty badly the other day, and I've also been hobbling and generally moving about awkwardly because I've been in work, and I've started getting a sharp pain in my left, uhh, 'cheek'. y'know, buttock.
anyway, this gets pretty bad when I sit and lift my straightened left leg up to a point of pretty severe pain from my 'cheek' down the back of my thigh. a cursory google has suggested it's something to do with my piniformus muscle or sciatic nerve or something.
anyone familiar with this? help?
gonna see a doc, obv., but no harm in asking.
