This is the best telly news of the year full stop. YES.
the Neverwhere adaptation.
...is actually an adaptation of the TV series.
Gaiman didn't like how the TV series turned out, so just wrote it as a novel, right?
There was a Radio 4 version recently, that was apparently really good (never caught it, though, unfortunately).
believe it when i see it neil, pal.
alright little parade rainer?
i'm very much looking forward to the parade but he keeps telling me that the parade is happening and then he spends all year "curating an anthology*" and delaying the parade.
* not a thing
It's an ex parade
but yeah, thinking about it, it's one of those novels that wouldn't work so well adapted as a feature-length film. Not necessarily because it's so long, but more because there's so many settings and characters that it'd just feel rushed.
Hopefully it kills off lingering film adaptation rumours for good
Hope they or someone equally as good do an adaptation of Good Omens at some point in future.
found this from a year ago: http://screenrant.com/neil-gaiman-american-gods-hbo-6-seasons-mcrid-119432/
six seasons seems a little much, unless they're planning to include the sequel he's said to be working on.
the story could fit brilliantly into one season, I'd say. Two, at most.
disagree with my casting now
