Hope you're all fine and dandy
how are you this fineish morning?
Tired but but bearing up.
Might have solved my laptop losing connection all the fugging time. Googled it and it seems there might be a better driver to install. Either that or it's going back to the fugging shop.
Dissertation hand-in day is either today or tomorrow and I've lost the email telling me which one and what I have to do. Emailing round in the hope that someone's in to make me feel better.
Sorry man, hope you're having a good day!
thank christ for that.
Today I will mostly be going round Norwich.
Should be nice.
And what's the band?
Someone on here does comedy gigs.
Sorry, I've missed some episodes. Will get the boxset when it comes out.
I'm playing at the Birdcage.
Hope it goes well.
May come down and heckle you.
No word of a lie.
looked incredulous every time someone asked her to move out the way. Also kept burping really loud. >:-(
- band practice was a lot of good fun. Three guitars sounds hilariously over the top in the best way: just really crushing grungey calamity.
- Ran a lot: my stupid mini spare tyre of a stomach is nearly solid, just needs a BIT more work.
- This week is going to be badass.
I think I've done 14 miles in the last week. Also trying to get rid of the mini-spare tyre but I'm not noticing much difference so far.
Ill most of the weekend. In work and exhausted. Send help.
saturday in london cheered me up a lot, think it was mostly the weather but it might have been marckee.
i'd tell you about my weekend but this is a more important matter.
My face is also itchy. I am pretty graceful today. Do you think it's possible to be slightly allergic to almost everything ever?
well chuffed with how it went.
Yesterday went for a nice walk up a hill in the south of Edinburgh.
Only in work today and tomorrow and then I'm going to Ben Nevis :D
I lucked out a couple years ago and ended up there in 30 degree weather!
but depends on how much snow is still lying up there. Don't think we'll attempt it if it's snowy on the paths... Plenty else to do up there thought :)
I'd be tempted to just find a good pub, drink and eat seafood but I *suppose* you could do a bit of walking i guess
this week: draw some maps, hope a new Boards of Canada LP is announced, work out more, find a cheap sporran.
*those* maps? :D
will look at that later this week, probably wed or something. but i finsihed of a A3 sized central station for a Tram network and a rural town's railway station (complete with Motorway junction and retail park haha). so yeah. i'll scan them in this friday, with hopefully *those* maps. :0
In work today, and I've taken on a load of new responsibilities. Arse.
Work is going to be terrible.
I've been given an actual task to do, responsibility! This is amazing.
I this how people with normal jobs feel on a daily basis?
enjoy it while it's still a novelty.
Absolutely knackered so told work I missed the train last night (Ive got a cast iron excuse as the one after mine gets in at the same minute of the connection train mentally). Ended up in Didsbury Friday night and ended up in a TEN PERSON student house which bought back terrible memories. Then Was in Stockport Saturday and its not as bad as I thought it'd be.
Ate an obscene amount of dead animal flesh.
Feel this week will be stressful.
It made me feel sad for a while but then I had a nice ale and felt ok.
Great weekend involving loads of booze, rugby, bands and that. Oh and the small matter of some kind of BoC activity.
This week: couple of interviews, gotta finish buying my boyfriend's birthday presents too. I've bought him a Beer Bods subscription. He'd better like it.
and I went to see The Wave Pictures last night in Glasgow and they were amazing <3333
today I have to go back to work :(
In the office all week. This is going to drag :(
Done a bit of running at the weekend, bit of take-away eating, bit of boozing Saturday night, bit of watching Cov lose again, bit of golf. Pretty decent. Oh, had an offer accepted on a house on Saturday. Also watched The Hurricane film last night. That was good.
there's a fine line between pleasure and pain.
so am watching what I eat this week. Good time to do it as there's not a lot planned so I should be able to avoid alcohol until the weekend. Should have time to go to the gym and do some bike rides in the evening too.
Pork burgers tonight for dinner
I am so tired! Excellent weekend went out for some 'just a few queit drinks' on Friday night and ended up at the AfterDark, bumped into more friends and had a good dance. On Saturday my mum made a lovely impromptu visit cos of a deal on train tickets from Eastleigh station. We had coffee and croissants and then walked the 4 and a half mile round trip to my office to pick up my mp3 player cos I forgot it on Friday, had lunch in Forbury Gardens and then met my friend Jamie in the Allied Arms for his birthday drinks, then Global Cafe for food (I didn't eat though :( ) then BoBs and then suprise suprise, ended up at AfterDark again and bumped into our new friend in there.
Sunday was fry up, ice cream and then movies/Doctor Who in bed, was falling asleep by 11, still so so tired today.
has opened a CASE because he's not happy with the condition.
Is this coffee grinder just going to haunt me forever?
It's probably something ridiculous like "i'm not happy cos the grounds are going everywhere" as well. Stay strong pal
Not laughed as much in ages.
after record shop day.
Bit weird but it's nice not having to feel anxious about how much gratitude to show. Off to Goodmans for lunch then drinks somewhere then either seeing Phoenix tonight or a Mario Kart tournament at the ritzy, can't fugging decide!
Before that the usual Monday rubbish like work and that.
Ruining my internet procrastination schedule. Might have to procrastinate through lunch to make up for lost time.
Seen a few babies with glasses this morning. Trying to decide whether it's funny or sad and coming down on the side of sad. Cos it's Monday morning probably. Still better than a cross-eyed baby I guess.
Err anyway weekend was good though yeah. Despite doing no dancing whatsoever
Weekend was alright, got stupidly drunk on Saturday. Ran into pieces_of_reece and sophiacherryx in the After Dark which was nice plus a guy I used to work with who had forgotten I ever existed. Then a guy split his head open somehow so they turned all the lights on so paramedics could work on him but kept the music playing; bit of a vibe killer really
easily one of my gigs of the year (thus far). Nice to see Jordan and meet aboynamedgoo.
I can't stop watching 24. Help.
absolutely smashed the speech, cheers. a great weekend all round.
