How many days a week do you think you overeat?
I've gone back to my uni habit of using "serves 4-6" as my go to meal size.
especially during all-nighters with the housemates (which I should be able to put on my CV as a testament to my staying awake skills, perseverance and whatever; but can't because ironically it would be interpreted as evidence of my being a slacker).
These would involve takeaway and/or a trip to the 24-hour Tesco to stock up on supplies (tortillas (to be eaten on their own), doughnuts, possibly a 25-pack of mini brownies, etc.), which would be eaten while watching bizarre late-night / early morning TV (Cash Cab (USA and nonsensical no-budget UK version), Genie in the House, My Spy Family).
ACID REFLUX ALL NEXT DAY YEAH
I think they thought we were massive stoners because we used to show up at 4 in the morning and buy ten tubes of pringles when really all we were doing was playing FIFA and watching Scarface.
and they were visibly annoyed at about midnight having to wait until we'd bought our unholy onslaught of snacks to be able to close
how bored I am
how on my own I am
if I've been outside (cause I'll just be like, whatever, I'm travelling about -- NEEDING THA ENERGY)
of misinformation, psychological shaming and cultural dysmorphia that fucking floods discourse about food these days.
If you are not gaining weight, you are not overeating, basically.
any days that I am
- home alone
- hung over
and i've already lost 1.4 kg.
it's pretty rare that I'll actually eat all three meals.
I got that Fitnessfirst app. It's pretty amazing how many calories are in alcohol and coffee. Also working in Soho - nightmare.
makes it more justified that I eat like a fucking idiot
Some days I under-eat.
Just bucking tha trend.
When I lived on my own after Uni though I'd eat fried chicken or pizza every night, then get through a massive bag of crisps and maybe a box of cherry bakewells. Really took its toll.
for dinner. Sometimes Haribo for breakfast.
Then we all became obsessed with Heinz soup.
You'd get embarrassed buying it EVERY DAY surely?
Usually one of the weeknights where we decide to cook a VAT of pasta for dinner and lunch the next day & end up just eating it all in the same sitting.
I tend to over do it. I am fixated with optimising my spend. The logic being that I'm paying actual money for one meal, rather than groceries.
The first thing I do is scan the menu for the words "challenge," "platter" or "ideal for sharing." Then I add some sides/go large some more.
Apparently he has 4 large scotch eggs every day for breakfast, then a pack of sausage rolls for dinner washed down with 2l of Lucozade. Every day.
He goes to the hospital a lot. He buys the four packs of pasties from Greggs and eats four for lunch. And a token lo fat pasta salad.
I found out yesterday that someone i work with has puts sugar on their frosties.
If I'm having a really bad day / evening with my anxiety I will eat shitloads, just kind of eat through the anxiety.
