forgot to say that my phone takes better video than my digital camera.
if I'm gonna record a short clip then I'll use the movie function on my camera - it does the job nicely.
I guess if you're going to pitch up at your child's nativity play and record the whole thing then you might want a camcorder but otherwise I wouldn't bother.
Maybe £200 would be worth it.
