Elvenquest... shit as you like
Party is to vague, Tim Key too similar to time key.
I hate you God!
Probably quite good.
Or is there anywhere, anyone who does good radio sitcoms. I'll settle for average.
Right I'm going to try both, simultaneously.
The only exceptions are:
- Just a Minute
- I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue
- Old Harry's Game
- The Now Show
And even those can drop the ball occasionally.
Also, Unbelievable Truth is good.
though I realise it's mostly shit.
And The Unbelievable Truth is one. It's not up there, though. Not sure about Party?. You may be right, there.
but I used to love Eggs & Gammon. If that's the same Shuttleworth. Will look for that.
I'm on it.
Would like to find Party...
And it's handled with comedy.
What more do you want?
I started listening to the Arthur Mathews one about the early days of the BBC but I forgot about it after the first 2 episodes. Sounded alright though.
And I say that as a big R4 fan.
apart from maybe fags mags n bagz or whatever the hell it's called.
just once mind.
nothing too hard to take in, you can just sort of lay in bed drifting in and out of a repeat of victor meldrew hosting a housewarming party and finding out all his guests have ended up in the house next door and the plumbings not rigged up correctly, then it all just segues into some really bad comedy about romans and then your alarm goes off and it's time to get up and pull yourself together.
