Preferably no more than around £70 per night and near interesting outdoors things to do?
Stayed there when I was a kid, it was incredible.
I stayed here - which is pretty isolated and lovely:
Although also considered staying here, which is a bit closer to things:
Tayvallich itself is bloody lovely, and great for walking and the sea. Plus it's about the only place where it's remotely convenient to get to Jura, which is well worth visiting.
In glendale it is a fairly remote settlement
It is the bungalow that is next to this toy museum just down the vale a little bit
seal/whale viewing from nearby.....
Plus if you wanted to, at night, its remote enough for you to leave the bungalow in the buff and nip up the slope into uninhabited land at night.....if thats your bag.
lovely views obviously
Plus I do like occasionally roaming in the buff - recommendation considered...
Neist Point lighthouse which deadonthestairs mentioned
there is a famous restaurant towards Dunveggan (3 chimneys) and a decent enough one in Glendale (red roof cafe)
I'd recommend the lovely farmhouse B&B we stayed at, but they're not taking guests at the Mo, apparently.
This is the link though www.thestablesbandb.co.uk as they recommend some alternatives on their contact page which I'd expect to be up to par.
Also, I was just making fun of you in the Latitude thread :D :D
Also, I can confirm I'm not Whisky. ;-)
Yes, bloody lovely place. Lovely people too.
