Terrible (food) items you inexplicably keep buying
Costa gingerbread latte. It tastes like soil. Their other ones are fine. Other places do it better. I know this, and yet here I am with one in front of me. Again.
Chicago Town frozen "takeaway" pizza with tomato sauce in the crust. It isn't terrible really, but it isn't as good as the BBQ sauce one and is SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive and calorific than other available alternatives. And yet recently I've been having about one a fortnight.

i always grab a chorizo sausage
its unhealthy
it stains everything with its red oil
it makes your breath smell like bad feet
but its amazing
its deleriously good but it can furk you up
I bought about 6 30cm long chorizos from saltaire market last year and ate them all in about 4 days - I even made soup one day and liquidised a chorizo into it.
Anyway I was getting these extreme pains in my guts, like there was knives kicking about in there, so i went to the doctors (and fell and hit my head on the way in) and they said it was totally the chorizo that nailed me, like you shouldn't eat more than about a third of a chorizo in a day. Still do though
Did the doctor know instantly from the symptoms that it was excess chorizo?
Is it a medical condition? Hyperchorizia or something?
they were perplexed for about ten mins until she asked me about my diet
when I told her I'd just polished off my 6th chorizo in 4 days she clocked on pretty sharpish
:')
i go through periods of being pissed and frying loads up for snackage
you massive div
made soup one day and liquidised a chorizo into it
Sides hurt :D
i put a good 6 inches of the stuff on my pizza last night
my bowels are feeling a bit lot about Me today.
Sainsburys chilled Italian pizzas have been half price for about a month
and I've had maybe one a week during that time just because I can't be arsed to cook when I get in late :/
why would i keep buying something if i knew it was terrible?
you just reminded me
i saw a thing, i think it was dominos or pizza hut, where they do a pizza that has a hot dog in the crist
pizza hut
they also do pizza with cheeseburger crusts http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/pizza-hut-unveil-crown-crust-806144
Was a big fan of that Arabic Pizza Hut advert for the Crown Crust that someone posted on here
*snaps fingers* find it for me...

Sandwiches from Subway
There's one really near work so I go thre at least twice a week and I know it's shit, but it's quick and cheap and I used to enjoy the taste, but now I'm just sick of it.
I always quite fancy a Subway
But then end up really disappointed during and afterwards because they always put so much fucking sauce on.
I know
I've learnt not to get sauce from there but I'm still astounded when you see them making someone else's sandwich and its about 40% sauce.
'Just a bit of chili please, pal...'
*Splurts the sauce up and down the sandwich half a dozen times*
*Sigh*
Then they have the audacity to ask
"Is that ok?"
Might say 'No' next time
See what happens....
They always just taste of Subway though, doesn't matter what you have
Same as Domino's pizza.
I could have a Subway now though, it's been a while.
Supermarket scotch eggs
Unless they're the posh kind from Waitrose, they always disappoint. They're just brown tennis balls, tasteless egg wrapped in sadness.
The most common one that I buy everyweek is Lorne Sausage
i mean, I can explain it - it's fucking incredible. But then you look at what's in it and... well, here's my tip; don't.
I have done a good job of only buying things i "need" recently. In texas the amount of shit i bought that i didn't... it was mental.
Boots meal deal sausage rolls
I like to eat my sausrolls cold and when eaten cold the ones from Boots are like stuffing a pork sock into your mouth. But I keep doing it.
Cold pastry is a horrible thing
Ginsters has it down.
No need to heat those babies up.
The slices are alright cold actually, I'll give you that.
the pair of you are completely, unequivocally wrong.
savoury pastry should be consumed piping hot and covered in oxo and water.
cold sausage rolls are greater then hot ones
glad somebody agrees
only acceptable with brown sauce
Not inexplicable but
I always end up with a cupboard full of cheese & onion crisps, French Fries, Discos, McCoys etc because I buy the multipacks with assorted flavours. Could argue that it's my own fault when there are single flavour multipacks available, but not all products have them
All Costa coffee tastes like soil
just really gritty coffee, endlessly disappointing. The worst one is ordering a mocha and then remembering, too late, that they make it with chocolate milk. Fucking animals
i quite like Costa
The vanilla and cinnamon lattes are alright though
The gingerbread one in particular tastes like...why does my brain keep saying "Charlie Dimmock"?
I have literally no idea
how do you prefer your mochas made?
with fucking powder?
(costa is fucking slurry tho, agreed)
Raw ginger
Keep buying and attempting to use it with uniformly disastrous results.
Ginger tea from it is pretty idiot proof
And I say that as a massive idiot myself.
that's your own fault though
I know, but usually I stop buying food I'm crap at
But not this for some reason.
cheesestrings
yes I am a man child, what of it? sometimes I fancy plasticy cheese
The spaghetti-style ones are very more-ish
toast
If you're buying toast pre-made, then there's your problem
Sausage bean & cheese melt from greggs
If they're hot it's like eating molten lava if they're cold they're horrible. Still striving to find one the perfect temperature because i like the concept.
I don't keep buying it but that Dairy Milk Oreos is shit.
Which is somewhat of a disappointment to me. Maybe I should buy it again?
you should
if only to make this a valid response
like fuck it is
Plums
Plums so far this year have been shit. Keep buying 'em though. One week my patience will pay off.
Plums.
i wish you guys knew what WaWa is ... I CANT STOP BUYING THANKSGIVING IN A BOWL
it's seriously SO BAD for you, but it's DELICIOUS and I always do it when I'm hungover. Such a bad call all around. I need to swear off WaWa altogether but there's one only a block from my place and thus it's hard to resist for late-night eats (open 24 hours! horrible temptation!)
I keep buying cherries but they disappoint 95% of the time.
Fucking expensive too.
stuffed-crust pizzas
they always, ALWAYS make me feel ill afterwards. probably because the recommended serving of half a pizza has about 70% of your daily fat intake and I eat the whole thing. PROBABLY.
I find that with all takeaways really
Feel like I might explode/be sick for an hour or more afterwards.
But then always go back again
For a while there last year my diet consisted of
Mattessons Smoked Sausage
Fridge Raiders
Rustlers Quarter Pounder
They are all absolutely disgusting, and pricey for what they are. Convenience is key though
lemons
i think - ooh, tea with lemon
or - ooh, hot water with lemon
or - ooh, i'll use that too cook
always gets thrown away. i have one just sat there in the cupboard now and it's driving me mad thinking about it.
Drink more G&Ts!
Cigarettes
I've started replacing food with cigarettes. I don't need to lose weight.
