are these mad things
I sing at the moon in my head and I mean it, there are feelings that might equal it at their time, but at the moment when you and the full moon are staring at each other then there is nothing that beats it shining on you.
Except sitting under a tree in a wood quietly absorbing yourself into the forest.
And making love (which is obviously not considered to be mad by others)
But talking to trees and the place that you are in in general, probably is (when its a real place that is)
Talking to the sky, and the sea, and water in rivers/streams.

that is about the most damning riposte to the OP you could have done
:D
I miss just going out walking with the intention of getting lost
emotionally and geographically at once.
the truest *me* is the reflection of what we call wilderness in context of this country in my eyes. I don't talk in this place. but I would like to meet someone who shares the same look - I can't see this ever happening.
:)
reflection, yes, because you become part of it, its not just experiancing it, you are it and its experiancing you. The talking might not be verbal, perhaps I should have said that with the moon I sing with my heart, because although you merge with the place you then suddenly see the moon, and then you gaze at each other, and then a big feeling swells up inside you
and time can stop
and then after a while you dont want to break your gaze, but cramp or creeping cold or people giggling (If its not in the wild) start to interfere
:D
I have a history of wandering off or 'staring into space'
most people are so thoroughly disconnected from it all that they have no feel for what is there and no way of understanding.
yeah, it's totally intuitive, isn't it? pre-verbal... just relying on your senses to guide you.
